Somehow the college poofs union, er, I mean, college profs union, doesn't quite carry the same weight as the f*cking Teamsters.

Bill Byrnes from Bloomington dropped his bid last week after his nominating petitions were challenged--by slimy sleazeball George Gollin operatives! Isn't this just the sort of backroom bullshit we have come to expect from a scurvy dirtbag like Gollin? He doesn't have the balls to challenge the guy one-on-one, instead he has his hired help try to dick the guy on a technicality. Typical feckless, dickless Gollin scumbaggery.

In our ongoing live-blogging of the petition challenge filing deadline, a challenge has just been filed to Bill Byrnes' nomination petitions for the 13th Congressional District. Byrnes is a retired bus driver. He filed to run for the democratic nomination along with Judge Ann Callis, George Gollin, and David Green.

The republican candidates who have filed are incumbent Rodney Davis, Michael Firsching, and Erika Harold.

The challenge was filed by Donald Necessary of Bloomington who has no official connection with any candidate in the race that we could uncover. However, the only persons to request Byrnes' petitions were a republican election law attorney from Chicago and Gollin's campaign manager, Monica Biddix. Also, a quick google search revealed that a Facebook user with the name Donald Necessary recently liked a picture posted by Gollin's campaign from an event in McLean County:



This circumstantial evidence points to the Gollin campaign as being the most likely behind the challenge.

Ten days ago, Harold Lewis, Ph.D., emeritus professor of physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, tendered his letter of resignation to Curtis G. Callan Jr., Princeton University, president of the American Physical Society, because Dr. Lewis finally realized that he could no longer support what he called the “successful pseudo-scientific fraud” of global warming.

Remember, to the Democratic Party and RINO Republicans, truth doesn’t matter, because to them truth is relative. All that matters to liberals and progressives is Nietzsche’s “Will to Power” and control over the people. Like the Islamic doctrine Taqiyya, which sanctions deceit to further Islam, to progressives the end justifies the means; therefore, lying, stealing, killing and perverting the Constitution and science is acceptable to utopian socialists as long as they “change the world.”

Recall the words of New Deal brain-truster Stuart Chase who, after visiting the Soviet Union in the 1920s, asked with incredulity, “Why should Russians have all the fun remaking the world?” Progressives are very resilient, so when Soviet communism finally collapsed after 70 years of world wide tyranny, progressives and liberal Democrats pushed the existential green movement to the forefront, which was in reality the same old exhausted red communism in a new disguise.

Green is now the new red (communism).

I realize it’s hard to accept that progressives and liberals, our fellow Americans, or anti-Americans, are so hell-bent on remaking the world while destroying society and allowing our minds, intellect, soul and spirit to degenerate into the abyss of socialism.

Leon Trotsky called this tactic “perpetual revolution.” Always keep the revolution going; always have a crisis before the face of the people; always keep society in a controlled state of chaos. Saul Alinsky, Hillary Clinton and Obama’s intellectual mentor, furthered Trotskyite tactics in his book, “Rules for Radicals”(1971), and now President Obama is forcing America to live out the Democrats’ green socialist nightmare, which stopped the Reagan economic revolution dead in its tracks while plunging America into a second Great Depression.

Liberalism isn’t new. It’s been called by different names over time. Note some of the sophistic ideas liberal Democrats and progressives have used to control and denigrate society over the past 250 years:

•Charles Darwin (evolution, eugenics, separation of Christianity and science)

•Woodrow Wilson, FDR, LBJ, Obama (welfare state)
•Walter Lippmann, Herbert Croly, John Dewey, H.G. Wells, Margaret Sanger, George Bernard Shaw (education propaganda, progressivism, moral relativism)
•Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao (state socialism, totalitarianism)
•Rachel Carson (“Silent Spring” [1962]), Ira Einhorn, Al Gore, Van Jones (“Green New Deal”)

Why did it take 40 years for Dr. Lewis, a man of superior academic credentials, who has dedicated his entire life to the pursuit of scientifically verified truths, to speak out publicly against the radical environmentalist movement and the Big Lie of manmade global warming, a diabolical collusion between science and politics that dates back to the first Earth Day, April 16-22, 1970, the advent of the modern environmentalist movement?

Could the reason Dr. Lewis remained a member of the American Physical Society for 67 years be because as a young scientist in the 1940s he didn’t want to rock the boat or ruin the career he had worked so hard to achieve by speaking against the fraudulent collusion between science and government in its myriad forms, which always produces bad science and terrible policy? After all, Dr. Lewis could have rationalized, “I am just one man.” What difference could I make? Who would believe my ideas about the numerous factual errors of climate change versus the peer-reviewed studies by thousands of scientists all over the world attesting to manmade global warming?

I don’t know Dr. Lewis personally, and I’m not attacking him. I simply am using him as a metaphor against green lobbying groups, like Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection, which are making millions peddling lies to useful idiots – people who are too cowardly to stand up and speak truth to power.

Thank God for Martin Niemoller (1892-1984), that great German Protestant minister who for years suffered in Nazi concentration camps for his outspoken Christian beliefs in the face of Hitler’s genocidal madness and Aryan supremacy. Recalling the cowardice of silence from his fellow clergymen as Hitler’s Nazism progressed, Niemoller wrote these poignant lines for the ages:

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

Then they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out; I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
I did not speak out;
I was not a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out for me.

During the Age of Obama and FDR’s welfare state, part 2, Niemoller is one of my heroes, and that’s why we must speak out against this 40-year-old green movement, which is fascist in conception and a cynical backdoor attempt by the Democratic Party to destroy liberty of contract, free-market capitalism and to subvert society gradually through Fabian socialism.

I appeal to you Dr. Harold Lewis, and to the entire academy to follow Niemoller’s courageous stance against Nazism, tyranny and socialism in all its guises. Don’t wait until you are an old man, financially secure with tenure from the university; sacrifice careerism and speak truth to power! If you don’t, then the new green movement, which is the old red communist menace, will continue to eradicate our natural rights to the downfall of liberty, truth and civilization.

Some have held that the physicists of today are not as smart as they used to be, but I don’t think that is an issue. I think it is the money, exactly what Eisenhower warned about a half-century ago. There are indeed trillions of dollars involved, to say nothing of the fame and glory (and frequent trips to exotic islands) that go with being a member of the club. Your own Physics Department (of which you are chairman) would lose millions a year if the global warming bubble burst. When Penn State absolved Mike Mann of wrongdoing, and the University of East Anglia did the same for Phil Jones, they cannot have been unaware of the financial penalty for doing otherwise. As the old saying goes, you don’t have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing. Since I am no philosopher, I’m not going to explore at just which point enlightened self-interest crosses the line into corruption, but a careful reading of the ClimateGate releases makes it clear that this is not an academic question.
