Sure sounds to me like extremist vitriol, inflammatory language and an implicit instigation of violence. The parallels are disturbing. To avoid the potentially tragic consequences of this and all his other irresponsible behavior, shouldn't law enforcement be notified?

After all, this could be a cry for help. Rather than ignoring these "red flags" as so often happens, we would be doing him a favor by ensuring he received the appropriate mental health counseling and incarceration.

In the first mentioned article that son of a whore says that "an infrindgement of academic freedom, it needs to be discussed." All I can say is that this bastard's hypocricy leaves me speechless.

Here is a lying cocksucker who built a career on stalking people who have degrees from institutions and ruining their lives and careers when he has an unearned PHD himself! I need a lesson in morality from Gollin like I need a hole in my head.

No need to pull punches here, VB. Tell us how you really feel!

BTW, statements of opinion, mere general expressions of contempt, and derogatory epithets devoid of provable meaning are not defamatory. This is true even when a website's overall tone is one of "puerile vituperation and wretchedly excessive tastelessness." (See, e.g., Vogel v. Felice, 2005 WL 675837 (Cal. Ct. App., March 24, 2005).

Also see Grillo v. John Alden Life Ins. Co., 939 F. Supp. 685, 688 (D. Minn. 1996) (calling an employee a "cocksucker" found not defamatory).

And although you didn't use these terms, the same goes for "shithead," "asshole," and "sleazebag." See link.

So fire away with those epithets of abuse and opprobrium, but do remember that the reason shitheads, assholes and sleazebags want to destroy this website is because we have caught them and continue to catch them with The Truth.

I have attended a few public political events over the years, and at no time was I shot, shot at, arrested, threatened with death or bodily injury, or forced to flee for my life.

On the other hand, for some people lightning seems to strike wherever they go. Sup widdat?

A victim in the mass shooting north of Tucson attending a special town hall today was arrested after his outburst at a tea-party supporter who favored delaying talk about gun laws until emotions over the shooting have died down.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department said it arrested Eric Fuller, 63, who was wounded in the knee a week ago in the shooting rampage that killed six and wounded 13. He was being held Saturday for alleged threats of intimidation and disorderly conduct and will undergo a mental-health evaluation.

The incident took place near the end of a taping of ABC's weekly "Town Hall" with news anchor Christiane Amanpour.

The program, which airs Sunday and is called "Tragedy in Tucson: An American Conversation Continued," reunited many victims, initial responders to the shooting scene and witnesses. Open to the public, the forum at a Catholic church was designed to promote conversation and healing a week after the grocery-store shooting.

Most of the of taping was calm and at times emotional as witnesses recounted the events in which a gunman opened fire at a local Safeway, killing six and wounding 13, including U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Toward the end of the taping, Amanpour brought up the issues of gun safety and mental health. One member of the audience who identified with the tea-party movement stood up and said debate over the shooting's political and gun-law implications should be delayed until emotions settle down. Fuller, seated near the front in an area reserved for victims and special guests, appeared increasingly frustrated and agitated.

Fuller then swiveled in his chair, raised his camera and took a photo of the pro-gun speaker, muttering, "You're dead," according to Joel Tranter, who was sitting behind him.

"I told him, 'You need to be respectful. You need to calm down,'" Tranter said. "He said, 'What'd you do, vote for this guy?'"

As police officers approached to escort Fuller outside, he turned and shouted at the audience: "You whores!"
The rest of the taping continued without incident and wrapped up about five minutes later.

Outside, Fuller was arrested for making threats, said Capt. Byron Gwaltney of the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
"He's currently in our custody and we're in the process of dealing with that investigation to see what charges will be made," Gwaltney said. ...

Fuller, who works as a signature collector for political initiatives, was about 10 to 15 feet away from Giffords, talking to her volunteers, when the shots erupted on Jan. 8. He said earlier this week he was hit by a bullet when he dove to the ground to play dead. He decided that because he didn't have any medical training to help others, he walked to his car and drove himself to the nearest hospital. ...

Am I detecting a little scepticism by the writer here? Seems like Fuller is a political hack who "said" he got hit by a bullet. I wonder when somebody will call BS on that? "I was going to stay and heroically save people, but then it dawned on me I don't know first aid, so I decided to drive to the hospital and get my um, bullet wound treated instead. Yeah, that's it." Mmmmmm...no, I'm not buying it.

What is it, like the stigmata, where you bleed even though you didn't actually get nailed to the cross?

Even though I was several thousand miles away, I believe I was psychically wounded by that assassin's bullets. Let me tell you, those wounds are just as painful as if I had actually been there! Can I get paid to come on talk shows and discuss it?

Quote:Gabrielle Giffords shooting victim also witnessed Kent State shootings
But this time, bullet from attacker's gun hit him in the foot
by Amy B Wang - Jan. 15, 2011 12:00 AM
The Arizona Republic

Randy Gardner was settling into a chair, chatting with an elderly woman also waiting to meet U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords last Saturday, when the sound of gunshots collapsed his world into a blur of gray figures and ricocheting screams.

It was only much later, as he lay on the ground with a bullet wound in the right foot that his mind hurtled back: May 4, 1970. Kent State University.

"Here I am again," he thought, "dodging bullets."

As a sophomore at Kent State, Gardner had joined a group of students protesting the Vietnam War, when members of the Ohio National Guard suddenly opened fire. He sprinted toward a field and "hit the ground" to avoid the bullets. Later, he discovered four of his classmates were killed, including a girl from his English class.

More than four decades later, his political inclinations would once again throw him into a landmark national tragedy.

A dedicated Democrat, Gardner had always admired Giffords. He had received an automated phone call about the "Congress on Your Corner" event the night before.

Gardner quickly decided to reroute his Saturday-morning errands. If the Safeway wasn't crowded, he thought, he would stop by to show his support for Giffords' vote on the health-care bill.

"I wanted to tell her to stand tall in the efforts to repeal it," said Gardner, 60, who was a mental-health therapist for more than 30 years.

A week after the shooting, Gardner is recovering at home. He tugs at his cotton pants, revealing a soft cast reaching almost to his knee. Doctors told him a bullet had traveled through his right foot, amazingly avoiding any bones.

Gardner spent one night in the hospital, then returned to the quiet cul-de-sac in northwest Tucson where he lives with his partner of 25 years, Barbara Hanna.

At first, he said he could only watch television reports on mute. Gardner discovered with a pang that the grandmother he had been talking to - Phyllis Schneck, 79 - was killed in the rampage.

Slowly it is dawning on him that the scope of last Saturday's events might be as large as the Kent State shootings. If he considered himself lucky then, he considers himself lucky now.

His injuries will heal, he said. The crutches will soon be unnecessary, the cast shed. He and Hanna have no plans to change their routines or beliefs.

"We won't be scared," said Hanna, 67, a retired psychiatric nurse who is similarly politically minded. "We're not going to start carrying guns."

But what Gardner continues to be troubled by most are reports of killings he hears in the news every day: The homicides, the robberies gone awry.

He held up his thumbs and index fingers to form a 2-inch square.

"They're going to get a little piece in the paper that they got shot," he said. They would never get to meet the president, as he and Hanna had been able to on Wednesday night. Gardner can't understand why this sort of everyday violence doesn't attract the same outrage: "It's that acceptance that's always bothered me through the years."

I think I saw this in a Twilight Zone episode, where the guy is rescued at sea after the Titanic sinks, only to discover he's now aboard the Lusitania. Are they sure this Gardner guy isn't just channelling Rod Serling, or someone else he met on the psych ward?

The Republicans should hire this guy to accompany Dear Leader on the campaign trail in 2012. Things always happen in three's.

You don't need to be a lawyer to use Google. Thankfully now everyone can easily learn the breadth of their constitutional free speech rights and exercise them to the fullest--without being intimidated by threats from socialist crackpots.

Apparently the unshaven look strikes a chord with butt pirates. Something to think about the next time you feel like skipping the razor for a couple days.
