"Superstition" seems to be the latest secular statist buzzword. I see the scum heckling Rick Warren about his son's tragic suicide also used the term.

Quote:In another comment, the same poster counsels Warren to "abandon primitive superstitions and accept the universe for what it is — a place that is utterly indifferent to us."
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/natio...e/2060337/

So, for example, Nosebutt and his government cohorts can now assert, "Of course we can force your Catholic hospital to perform abortions. We know best, and you are just practicing superstition!"

superstition?
But Marxism presents the very, exact same elements of Christianity: a Jewish head prophet and his honchos. An apocalyptic imagery of inequalities to redress care of a radical vanguard of activists in charge of making the 'good news' known, who are invariably going to have the upper hand in a supercharged 'day of reckoning' that will no longer see pagans, heretics, indios and witches going to the gallows, but burgeois and capitalists: do YOU see any major difference?
Christianity presumably lays its foundation on presumed spiritual and/or supernatural grounds, while marxism adopts the jargon of economics and industry...needless to say what was matter of common discussion whenever the doctrine was created.
Any difference amounts to the fact that Fascists sent people to die in labor camps because of their fixation on race, while Khmer Rouge did because they couldn't care less about race, but cared about implementing improbable agrarian utopias based upon radical equalizing schemes (=destruction of the middle class of bureaucrats, intellectuals and artists WITH THE EXCEPTION of party ideologues, of course: Mao was a poet after all).

Coming up on a month since anybody even bothered to post at DD. The last was by "worldtraveler" on February 11, 2015. The music is over. Somebody wake up Gus so he can turn out the lights.

For the last year or two the only thing posted was Johan and the Arizona shyster involved in the worlds smallest circle jerk. Is there a mercy rule in forums?

The mercy rule is for jerk coaches who run up scores on overmatched opponents. DD ran up the score on themselves. In this case I favor the "no mercy" rule, where the bodies are left dangling as an example.

It seems the old wars are over. They made the mistake of not understanding that you can't scream at everyone and still expect normal people to stay around and post. It did get tiresome hearing them scream shill, fake, fraud, every time I, or someone else, didn't agree with the GANG. They started from the point of view that it was their way or no way. That makes it pretty hard to have civil discourse and an exchange of views. If it's dead, GOOD. DD and DI were simply places for the Bear/Douglas types to present bottom end RA schools to be more than they were. I don't recall many of the Harvard / Yale types making that point. I always figured it was about business for the DougBears. They once wanted to sell Approved and Licensed and then when they moved on they shilled for the lower level RA schools. $$$$$$$$$$$

One more point. If they had really wanted to talk about DL schools, they would have acted in a manner that would have indicated they actually have the skills to appear, and be, educated. The Bear clan always seemed rude and ignorant. Perhaps their RA education didn't really take hold.

Self-styled patriarch of Bear clan: 41 years of being rude? This is distressing. I've really tried to be polite, even to those who are not being polite to me. And are you suggesting that RA education somehow causes one to be less rude and even less ignorant. Incidentally, as I've written about numerous times, my doctoral education had major non-resident and non-traditional elements. Two full academic years on campus at Michigan State, followed by three years of off-campus independent study, interacting with my committee by mail, phone, and what was then charmingly called the Xerox Telecopier, then a final term on campus.

Try a little reading comprehension there, "doctor." He didn't say you were rude, he said your klan of stalkers, degenerates and thugs was rude. Why should you be rude when, with a few key strokes, you can summon a cadre of goons to harass, threaten and bully those who annoy you?

Why did you put "doctor" in quotation marks?

I could ask my cadre of goons to harass, threaten and bully you into responding, but I thought I'd just ask.
