Cheyenne Herald goes belly up!

Thats right! The bastion of honest and unbiased opinion (he he) put out its last issue!

So check it out, The Cheyenne Herald started in 2002 and quit in 2012. Ten years! So much for "Cheyenne's Hometown Paper."

I would add that the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, David Featherly's nemisis continues going on strong.

Nice catch, VB. Good riddance to that cartel shill. What are people in WY going to do when they need to wrap fish?

Kind of funny how the Klones are rendering themselves irrelevant a thick brown lump at a time. Elmer quits DI, Contreras quits ODA, Goose spends more time talking to his lawyers than stalking, even Gollum is too busy with his one lame physics class a semester to post his self-important drivel. Klempner is just about fresh out of sycophants. (Or is that "psycho-phants"?)

Thanks.

The only people who read that rag were members of the Accreditation Mafia like Bill Huffman and his ilk.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle was the state's real "hometown paper" and that piece of shit was nothing more than a vehicle for a mentally ill poser. Sadly, Featherly's war on academic freedom actully got him some degree of faux legitimacy.

Excuse me for engaging in a little schadenfreude but I think I am going to get a glass of something strong. Cheers!

Very true. They pulled the rug out from under the alternative and start up schools that had located or relocated there to escape government oppression. They lured people in with promises of minimum regulation, then lowered the boom on them and ran them out of town. A very stupid, shortsighted policy for a state interested in developing business, but typical of the higher ed cartel protecting its own interests at the expense of its competitors and the public.

Beautiful point you have illustrated Martin...here's another. The State of Hawaii Department of Consumer Affairs, which closed the doors on Pacific Western University...would sell it's former graduates and students "Certificates of Good Standing"...while they were involved in litigation to "CLOSE" the doors on the school!. I contacted this state department years ago, to seek clarification on this strangely paradoxical sequence of events...they refused to answer my question...and even hung the phone up on me! I asked them point blank..."how the devil can you claim that the school has violated state law, concerning disclosure provisions...and SIMULTANEOUSLY sell to the public CERTIFICATES OF GOOD STANDING, complete with state seal, signed by the director of this agency, all the while proclaiming that the school was out of compliance! The state of Hawaii "SOLD" these certificates too the tune of five buck's a pop! A person can frame it, right next to their diploma from PWU.
