Gollin's Tit in the Wringer

Fort?Bragg Wrote:Ward Churchill said that the US treated other countries like crap and 9/11 was payback. But that's true. Isn't it just possible that the US has done something to deserve the negative image it has in much of the world?

The punishment meted out to Churchill is all too common for people with politically incorrect ideas. A doctor who criticizes the medical establishment suddenly finds himself before a disciplinary committee for poor procedure on an ingrown toenail.? Complaints that are routinely dismissed take on huge importance.

Are you kidding me that you would actually think those 3,000 people deserved to die based on the US pissing some people off?

I don't remember saying the part about them deserving to die. I'm just saying that there was motivation for the terrorists resulting from their perception of US actions.

Applying the same reasoning used by the US and its allies in WWII one could conclude that civilians are legitimate military targets. Or has that changed?

True, but by agreeing with Churchill, it amounts to the same thing. The only wars we ever justified in being in is when the Japs bombed Pear Harbor and 9/11 against Obama. We need to stop playing cop for the world and concentrate on the U.S. problems.

Now George Gollin (George Dana Gollin, George D. Gollin) is just another know nothing university professor who professes to know every thing about a topic he is just now learning through his unjustified appointment to CHEA (learn while you earn).

Enough about Obama bin Laden this thread continues at degreediscussion:

If the AAHEA is serious, a lawsuit against CHEA board member Gollin and CHEA might be a good idea. How long would Gollin last if CHEA had to cough up a million bucks for lawyers.

Everything the AAHEA guy says seems to be easily verifiable yet Gollin refuses to let fact get in the way of opinion.

Since I'm not involved, I say bring it on.

If he represented a real organisation with competence and integrity, purporting to contribute to US higher education, the A.N. ought to be able to write standard English and to reveal his own name.
