Douglas Diss
#1
Someone at degreeinfo bumped up this classic thread. It is really pitiful that Douglas repeatedly denies the research in his dissertation because he disagrees with the results. As usual the people who can't read use their usual degreeinfo ignorant rudeness to attack the messengers who can read. Every degreeinfo regular lines up the kiss Douglas's ass.

"Kizmet" shows up as a moderator. I presume she didn't come from Chip's other empire because girls don't have a place in Chip's porn operation. Strictly queers, or so I'm told. I wonder if she knows or cares that she is fronting for a porn operation? It doesn't seem to bother Fat Bruce.

Wow! A flashback. About this time I started receiving death threats from a degreeinfo member. I reported it to Bruce the cop and he proved himself just as useless as the Quincy news media portrays him. I then posted the threats on threads at degreeinfo. They were deleted and I was shortly gone. My supposed murderer remained. And the remaining members over there wonder why people are upset with degreeinfo.

This thread was begun by someone attending an unaccredited school to earn a doctorate without having to write a dissertation. His main point was that my doctoral research--again, somethinig neither the OP nor the more recent troll seems to have done--"proved" that degrees from unaccredited schools had utility."

I am the one who originally began the thread.  It's no secret that I chose CCU because it did not require a doctoral dissertation at the time.  It is not unusual, although not totally common, for a DBA program to have writing requirements other than a dissertation.  My final exam, which I am presently working on consists of 6 papers that will come in at about the same length as the Douglas diss.

I chose my program to meet my needs and Douglas chose his for its lack of rigor and the fact that one could graduate with minimal effort.  With all the programs out there Union was the obvious choice when lack of academic talent rears its head.

Bear also chose Union for Bomber Douglas because he correctly figured that they could stack the doctoral committee -which they definitely did. John Bear was able to slide into a prominent role and help move the already largely written diss through in near record time, something Rich Douglas has always criticized Dr. Hayes for doing at Knightsbridge. If I can paraphrase the central point of RCD's criticism, it is something along the lines of:
"I have no problem with the quality and length of Neil Hayes' dissertation, though I'm no specialist in that field, instead I have a problem with the process."

No wonder that there has always been tension between Steve Levicoff, the underachieving truck driver who also has a PhD from Union, and Rich Douglas. Levicoff wasn't able to manipulate the doctoral committee; he first had to craft a dissertation proposal and ultimately spent substantially more time as a tuition-paying PhD candidate than Rich.

Personally I fail to see the difference.

I think Union charges tuition per quarter so the goal was to produce a product as quickly as possible so his friends could hold their nose and rubber stamp it. I wonder what favor Bear owes to Union for getting Douglas readmitted, having expired credits recognized, and getting him through the program in record time.
