Knightsbridge about to be in the news (I hope)
Based on the reporter's call from Europe at 6 this morning, it seems as if a major news medium is working on a story on the Pride of Spentrup, Denmark, possibly to appear later this week. I'll try to stay alert, but I'll bet someone else here finds it first.

It looks like Bear is fishing again. Most certainly it is Bear who called the reporter as no one knows who the hell he is. He likes being quoted in newspapers around the world as the DE expert. He misses what little fame (or is that infamous) he used to have.

I guess giving square and line dancing lessons is not giving him the fame he had hoped for. Maybe he should partner with Shelia Danzig like he did with MIGS. This time they can combine their dancing epertise to teach a new dance step, the perp walk.

It will soon be a week since JB post about KU!
Of course, RCD was quick to jump on the band-wagon; completely forgetting that his 8-month (or was that 8-week) PhD nearly brought Union down. I don't think any KU graduate has ever been quite that infamous.
JB has also forgotten that in 2002 he emailed me suggesting that if I wanted a real degree I should look at Greenwich, KW or Fairfax. Much earlier than that - 1984 - he sent me a brochure about the California University for Advanced Studies.

He also told me what a good school Greenwich University was back in 1990.  You see the problem with any Bear advice and opinions is that he changes them to suit the moment.

"Columbia Pacific is the largest university in the USA and one of the  largest in the world.  The faculty numbers more than 200, nearly all with traditional doctorates.  No other non-resident, doctorate-granting institution has a staff with the credentials, reputation, and experience of Columbia Pacific.  Many universities, including Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, have expressed a willingness to accept CPU degrees.  I have had more positive feedback from CPU students and alumni than from any other school."
--John Bear--Bear's Guide-1984

And if the good doctor tells you that there were no accredited schools back then so times were different, well hmmmmm.
Charter Oak State College=  Year Established  1973
Thomas Edison State College= Year Established  1972
Union Institute =  Year Established  1964
Excelsior / University of the State of New York = Established  1784
--Dates taken from Bear's Guides

You see these school which we have been talking about these past few years were around during the times when Bear was hyping his own unaccredited schools.  But he wanted to make money selling unaccredited degrees from his own schools.

By the way Douglas got his fistful of Excelsior degrees from 1979 to 1981.  These are right in the prime period of the Bear years of supporting unaccredited schools as good / usable.....etc.

"The University of the State of New York is the Board of Regents for the state.  They are the degree-awarding authority for my two bachelor's (and one associate's), not Excelsior. (I graduated in 1979-1980-1981) respectively."
--Rich Douglas--AED-- 2003

You see form the rather big mouth of Rich Douglas that there were plenty of accredited options available back during the time Bear was hyping CPU. But Bear wanted your money and CPU was the billfold he wanted filled at the time. So, he recommended CPU to us rather than the accredited school, Excelsior / University of the State of New York, or one of the other accredited schools that offered Accredited DL degrees.

The schools were there back then, but, Bear had other cars to sell.  Now, he wishes to sell Excelsior cars, but not back then.  The DL expert doesn't like anyone who challenges his poor advice and opinions.  Henrik and Dr. Hayes have said that Bear has feet of clay (as he does) and apparently the DL God (JB) doesn't like it.  I guess his feelings have been hurt, OH MY, so now he strikes back at Knightsbridge. He has always behaved this way and always will. You do it his way or he sticks you in the back with his knife.

Perhaps Henrik should have bought him lunch and given him a nice watch. Others have obtained good reviews by greasing the wheels.

John B. Bear sent me to CPU to sepak with his wife who was in the admissions office. She was a very nice lady and called me for weeks after that initial phone call to try to sell me on their great degree program. Bear was running a consulting business at the time where he reviewed my resume and said, "You have aleady erned your degree through life experice, you just need the paper to prove it. CPU is an excellent university to provide you with that service."

Little did I know at the time that he had a financial interest in CPU. I wonder if he has ever shared those thoughts with Otho Allen Ezell, Jr. at that time, being DIPSAM was under way at that time.

I’m lead to believe that Janko's links to media articles loosely say that KU operates from a private home, has no degree granting authority and in the words of FBI Degree Mill Expert, John Bear, KU is a degree mill. The articles also imply that is was JB who approached the Danish news media.

I notice that their links go to non-English stuff.  I'm sure almost no one knows what is being said, wow, a real revealing attack.  I guess we just fill in the blanks.  If John and company want to expose someone for being a first class hypocrite they could just do a search on John Bear.

You see it's pretty easy to find stuff on the old man (Bear) and it's in English, and yet, they don't seem to care, do they?  Oh well, I'll be glad to show the things they prefer to FORGET.  John Bear milled degrees, sold unaccredited degrees, and he cashed the checks, OVER AND OVER.

John was even a faculty member of MIGS.  Now didn't that take some good skills to secure that job? Rolleyes

John Bear always kissed the asses of the media to get print. I aclled that one right, he contacted them as I said. Just like he kissed Shelia Danzig's ass to get on the MIGS faculty. With Danzig being an investor in St. Regis University, where does John Bear fit in to that crew?

The latest from JB @ DD certainly supports the premise that he is suffering from a very severe dose of senile dementia. The reference to someone in Ireland also confirms that all this rubbish came from John Bear himself:

The only site I know that does free Danish-English translation (http://tinyurl.com/3fovz) rendered the first article into something like a Victor Borge routine, but one certainly gets the flavor of what it's about. There is a wonderful bit of Knightsbridgian serendipity here, in that the author of the article is named "Anders" which is the Danish word for "duck breeding." (For them as don't know, the most vociferous defender of Knightsbridge is a New Zealand duck expert named Hayes.)
