Try this: Do a Google search for "natural health", "pet food", or "new parent" and just look at the crap that comes up. You'll find endless blogs and discussion boards with people spouting off a bunch of unsubstantiated bullshit. Things like "I read somewhere that distilled cat piss is good for inflammation" and you'll find about 50 people who have either heard of it, tried it, or say they'll try it and all because some self-proclaimed "expert" says it works. This is particularly the case with natural health -most of these jokers are self-proclaimed "researchers" by the way.
My point is that not nearly enough people properly scrutinize the information they come across which is why crap like the 'Amero' leads to nothing but senseless fear mongering.
First of all, the 'Amero'
hoax is obviously modeled after the EURO (Europa->Euro, America->Amero ).
Second, truly
hate 'online experts'...
Most are clueless idiots who just (m)utter catch-phrases or catch-concepts they THINK are trendy ( perhaps within the $15 a year boundaries of the junk website whose residing clique they want to join ).
A jackass once claimed he was an 'aerospace engineer', another made 'sixfigures a year ' ( yaawn! ) singing boring songs at corporate events a couple nights a week...another loon had 3 millions stashed away and had grossed $400.000 in the last term...
another is a college professor...another an acclaimed novelist...who contribute dozens upon dozens of posts to discussions spanning THOUSANDS of posts!
wow...all those unemployed drunkards, janitors, mobile homeowners, welfare hogs and garbage collectors on methadone in real life and so many glamorous jobs online...
WHEN SOME JACKASS PLAYS THE 'PROFESSIONAL OPINION' CARD ONLINE, LAUGH AT HIM AND LEAVE.
A 15yo wop kid was thought to be an 'expert' for years on a big fitness forum where he acted as 'super moderator'...he not only advised about concoctions of illegal drugs, but -hear this- fooled chemical companies and business owners into sending him chemicals and products... 15yo mindless wop moron!
