Help needed: Grand Canyon no longer accepts Warren National credits

I have it on good authority that Warren National University credits are no longer accepted by Grand Canyon University.

Does anyone know of any accredited schools which would accept credits from WNU?

I think its possible that Charter Oak College, Thomas Edison State College and Excelsior College may allow students to get credit by examination but I do not know.

Anyone have any other ideas?

As in most things, depends on who is asking and who is being asked.

Someone fresh out of high school with a lot of WNU units, probably not.  Someone with military or law enforcement background, political connections, or something that suggests they someday might be in a position to donate generously to their dear old alma mater...maybe.  Probably better luck with six or nine units to transfer than 60 or 90.

A fancy school with a waiting list...probably not.  A not-so-fancy school with empty seats and a serious need for tuition-paying scholars...maybe.

As much as I try to defend my Alma Mater, the admins sure do piss me off. I found that there are a lot of ex students and grads who cannot get their transcripts. I actually located the people who I needed to contact but they are ignoring my attempts to get hold of them.

WNU and KWU before it were actually decent schools considering that they were not accredited. But the fact that they folded up and left their students twisting in the wind does not reflect well on them. And I am tired of trying to defend this school. Its not like I or any of the graduates who are supporting this school are getting paid or anything.

I guess the best advice I got was from someone who told me that I should just be glad to have that experience and learn from it. And if people want to diss my school thats their problem and not mine.

Why does the school need to be accredited? There are plenty of decent unaccredited career schools and colleges.

Some do and some do not.

In my situation, I already have a degree from an unaccredited school so I think it would be helpful to get an accredited degree. Mostly, I am concerned about transferring credits to another school.
