Another CLEP Success... - D00bie - 07-29-2008 Capella Shill Wrote:Today my 15 year old daughter took on the American Government CLEP. She passed with a 54. She indicated that it was difficult and she could have put in more time into prep. http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?t=28476 Capella Loser encouraging his 15yr old to go the easy route, cheating, and saving daddy money. If a 15yr old can cram and pass the clep, admittedly without preparing enough, is the CLEP really college level ? So much for RA Gold standards...Who else do we know that got entire degrees this way? There's several directions one can go with this but you get my point. Cheers, RE: Another CLEP Success... - ham - 07-29-2008 in my opinion the idiot is spinning another yarn on par with all the self-aggrandizing fantasies of the degreeinfo clowns. Even Athabasca, the most lenient I know of, expects students to be at least 17. Furthermore, if the person took an official exam, didn't they ask for proof of identity (therefore age)? Invigilators always did with me. What's more amazing, yet usual online, is that for every idiot uttering the nonsense of the day, there are many more idiots buying it pronto, like that deluded joke who said he went to community college at age 15 too... Please... There are high schools offering extra 'special credits' that many university will accept later, but not at 15 and still within high-school. RE: Another CLEP Success... - Gabe - 07-29-2008 When I was in the military our Educational Services Officer conducted CLEP's one Sunday morning while underway. Spontaneously, I opted to take an English Composition exam. For about the first hour or so I worked diligently, but then I got bored and anxious to the point where I wanted to burst out of the door. So, I RANDOMLY selected answers for the remaining 25-30% of the exam because afterall, it was free, so what did I care if I didn't pass? Well, I did pass. In just over an hour I earned 6 semester credits, or one year's worth of English. |
