So he likes to pay someone else to bleed and gut animals raised in cages for his personal pleasure. What a man.

How did all these old farts stay out of the army?

How did all these old farts stay out of the army?

It was sad to read this, as I'm sure Jimmy really knows that in the USA (and throughout the world) hunters are the world's leading conservationists. I think his comments are those in line with what he believed his mates at DD wanted to hear.
The USA based Ducks Unlimited is by far the world's largest conservation organisation, with over 600,000 duck hunting members - with their money being the main reason why DU has been able to restore, create and protect millions of acres of vitally important North American wetlands.
Three of my UK conservation idols - Peter Scott, John Aspinall and Jeffery Harrison - were hunters who spent their lives working to save threatened species, and their habitats, from extinction.
And in NZ the people working hardest to save our endangered waterfowl from extinction are duck hunters.

Believe it or not, most anti-hunters still eat meat. They will gladly munch on a Big Mac while whining about hunters. You know, I can't see this attitude. If a guy will go to a grocery store and buy meat in a pack and then raise a sand storm about some guy hunting, he's not thinking the matter through. Meat is meat. While I'm not a hunter, I certainly don't have a problem with people hunting and eating their kills. I eat the meat killed by the meat packing companies, so I can hardly whine about hunters. In fact, I'm just about to cook some home made biscuits and some country ham. Add to that  some good hot coffee, and you got a Southern delight. Don't tell me Jimmy doesn't eat a sausage and biscuit when he can.

Jimmy is an enigma to me, and maybe to himself. He never seems to have found anything worth going to the mat for. At some point you must decide who you are and what you stand for. I hardly believe you can stand for what the other guys (DI/DD) rant about, and yet he does. He looks to what Hudson and Bear put forth and says boldly, "ME TOO."

I fear he is one of those who wants peace and is willing to say and do "almost" anything to get it. No doubt he will bend the knee. Some would say, even, get down on them, perhaps so. At any rate he will not confront the powers at DD/DI. It's not in him.

On the other hand, he does go out on a limb somewhat (considering where he posts) to defend Dr. Hayes:

Still perjorative and uncalled for. Hayes' work on behalf of the Brown Teals is commendable and certainly not the work of anyone labeled "Dumbo."

I think it's time to leave Hayes alone. What great threat is he to you or anyone else on here? Surely the self-esteem levels are higher than one having to make him/herself look good by belittling others.

And yes, I have engaged in such myself and I apologized for it.

But of course he has to finish by apologizing.  Funny how the gay boy porn vendor or the guy with the dyke daughter or the adjudicated civil rights violator never bother to apologize, but Rev. Jimmy apologizes to somebody in every other post.
