What brought the sphyncta out from under his rock?  Did someone hit a nerve?

I think it was this post about his divorcee collaborator Betty McCollum.  Perhaps some newspaper will do an FOIA request and get to the bottom of this.  I have a feeling George just fell off his slide at the playground.
