Not only do they know it, they helped prove it. Some little ex-prison guard in VA wrote a paper all about how unaccredited schools had a 96% level of acceptance. Maybe that's why the transvestite moderator at DI treats him with absolutely no respect.

Well said Herbert...I spoke with a naval recruiter years ago about unaccredited degree use for officers...he stated that a number of officers possessed these types of degrees, "state approved", when seeking an officers commission. The Air Force was the only branch that would not accept a state approved degree, in order to become a commissioned officer. The Navy, Army and Marine Corps ."ALL" accepted these degrees as legal and valid. I have worked with state personnel in California who were not only hired... but were handsomely promoted with "state approved' graduate degrees, into positions of management and were commanding near 6 figure incomes..."illegal" indeed...LMAO!

No doubt they read them. They like to know which of their past screwups are being revealed and how they must act to limit damage.

Of course I can tell them how to reduce exposure to their past adventures. Stop telling the same stories different ways and stop denying having said what their written words prove.

John Bear called Kennedy Western a good school. In fact at some point in time he called almost every school he now laughs at as being a good school. I always enjoyed it when he denied saying such and such school as being a good choice/school. I could then quote one of his guides and watch as he would slink off and pout. I am, after all--his unofficial biographer, he even says so..... Smile

Klempner is so old he was at the Ford Theater watching the play when Lincoln bought it.

Klempner was the guy who asked, "Aside from that, how did you like the play, Mrs. Lincoln?"

When you think of all the fun he could have had rhyming "uncouth," "sleuth," "bucktooth," "Dr. Ruth," "vermouth" or "poof" instead, Klempner seems to be running out of steam. Although considering that the majority of the audience these days are newbies, he probably figured he should include at least one name on the list that somebody might recognize.

Hmmm, I thought John Bear said he was just a tired old man who didn't write or post things any more so "Please just let him alone," and don't sue him back into the stone age. It seems he still has some venom left to spit. For a guy who owned unaccredited schools, unaccredited bottom feeders, AND, degree mills, he sures seems to damn people who did as he did and cashed the checks just as did old John Boy. Big Grin

Here's to you John. May you receive all the problems you caused others to have and may you be seen as the lying old fool you are. A fake and fraud like Bear never changes. The man was never real, just smoke and mirrors.

What is the latest with Bear? Is this old fart still around, or has he called it a career and packed it it?

Totally irrelevant. And the more time goes by it is becoming clearer how irrelevant he was all along. He was never part of any legitimate alternative education institution or plans. Many schools Bear and his internet cheerleaders bashed as "less than wonderful" later became accredited, something he himself was never able to do with his affiliations. He never labeled his endeavours as "less than wonderful" and his endeavours never became accredited or legitimate. His book is obsolete too. When you add it all up, Bear was not a trailblazer, did not produce a bang in his field and was nothing but a whimper.

How kind of you to care, Mr. Vankirk. Yeah, the old fart is still around -- happy, healthy, and busier than ever. The success of the "Degree Mills" book has led to more expert witness gigs than I can handle. This very afternoon, a deposition in an industrial injury case, where the expert witness for the other side has totally fake medical degree from the non-existent "Metropolitan Collegiate" in London. The acquisition of my publisher, Ten Speed Press by Random House, largest publisher in the US, put my 14 Ten Speed books in limbo. Three are being republished, two have been dumped, and the other nine are awaiting decisions.

Doc, my personal favorite was Computer Wimp. At the time it came out, personal computers were just becoming popular and we had these dot matrix printers that printed out on attached, oversized computer paper. It was a book for a certain era, early-mid 80's, and much of the humor would seem dated if not lost on today's audience.
