  Hillary for Prison 2016

Quote:Could This Mean The “Butcher Of Benghazi” Hillary Clinton Is Headed To Prison?
There’s a huge movement powered by social media. Help spread the word!
Kris Zane — May 8, 2014

Hillary Clinton, known as the “Butcher of Benghazi” after the release of the scathing report “Breach of Duty: Hillary Clinton and Catastrophic Failure in Benghazi,” refused dozens of requests for additional security at the Benghazi consulate.

The report also reveals that Clinton held back a special forces State Department Foreign Emergency Support Team on the night of September 11, 2012—essentially giving a stand down order—leaving Islamic radicals to butcher Chris Stevens, Shawn Smith, Ty Woods, and Glen Doherty.

Clinton and Obama couldn’t reveal that they left Americans to be slaughtered, and so began the fantasy about a “protest turned violent” over an anti-Muslim YouTube video virtually no one had seen. When that became laughable, Clinton and Obama then blamed the CIA for bad intel about the phony protest.  This was also a lie as revealed in a huge cache of emails obtained by the government watchdog group Judicial Watch last week.

According to the emails, Clinton and the rest of the Obama administration were feverishly working to cover up the fact that al-Qaeda had attacked our embassy. Feverishly trying to cover up the fact that the consulate didn’t have sufficient security. And feverishly trying to create a lie big enough that the entire American public would fall for it.  Clinton and Obama cared more about saving their political careers than saving the lives of four Americans.

Obama and Clinton stood by as four Americans were murdered.

If a murder is in progress, and the President of the United States and Secretary of State do nothing, that is accessory to murder. And up until now, Clinton and Obama have gotten away with murder.

But there’s a new sheriff in town: “Benghazi Bulldog” Trey Gowdy, appointed to head the Select Committee on Benghazi. And this Sheriff is going after Clinton and Obama with guns blazing

Plus, there’s a huge movement powered by social media calling for Hillary Clinton to be sent to prison for her role in the Benghazi massacre. The movement is called “Hillary Clinton for Prison 2016.”

We can only hope…

Quote:Meet the Stanford Senior Who Stood Up for Marriage Against Intolerance

Despite attempts to silence her and like-minded friends, [regionally accredited] Stanford University senior Judy Romea refused to back down.

Romea, president of a campus group, had hoped to create a civil atmosphere during an all-day conference at Stanford that she helped organize to discuss “marriage, family, and sexual integrity.” Then the school’s Student Graduate Council defunded the event and slapped her group, the Stanford Anscombe Society, with a hefty “security” fee in an attempt to quash the pro-marriage event.

Romea persevered, though, and led the Stanford Anscombe Society (SAS) to put on a successful conference April 5 called Communicating Values: Marriage, Family & the Media. In an exclusive interview with The Foundry, she discussed what motivated her to push forward while facing uncharitable resistance.

“The whole point of SAS is not to declare political victory when it comes to the issue of same-sex marriage,” Romea said. “That’s a very myopic view. The mission is really to engage each other and show the world what real and valuable relationships are [between] people who agree and disagree.”

Romea, who was born and grew up in Valencia, Calif., founded SAS as a college freshman. The group, named after British philosopher Elizabeth Anscombe, meets weekly to discuss the roles of family, marriage, and sexual integrity in the lives of Stanford students.

Romea says she never expected to be met with hostility by Stanford classmates and student leaders. Instead, she hoped the group would promote a culture of dialogue and tolerance on Stanford’s diverse campus. She hoped to see relationships and conversations thrive.

Romea’s interest in the study of marriage and family began early, she says. A conference held by the Ruth Institute in 2012 first sparked her interest in academic arguments regarding marriage and human sexuality. Even as a high school student, she says, she often talked to friends about the value of stable relationships.

One goal of her group’s conference was to “expose [students] to the intellectual and rational arguments for marriage, as well as [other] tools they have at their disposal with which to communicate their values,” Romea said.

These good intentions apparently didn’t matter to leaders of the Graduate Student Council. Romea, a business major, was buckling down for final exams when the student government group unexpectedly pulled funding for the conference — to her frustration and disappointment.

The student council expressed disapproval with the ideology of the scheduled speakers, several of whom were advocates of marriage as the union of a man and a woman — and oppose redefining marriage. Among them was Ryan T. Anderson, The Heritage Foundation’s William E. Simon fellow, whom the student council claimed March 5 would make some in the campus community “feel threatened.”

To counter the “unsafe space” the student council also said the marriage conference would create, it ordered Romea’s group to provide $5,600 for event security or cancel. After SAS garnered some media attention by publicly demanding the lifting of what Romea called a “tax on free speech,” the university administration “found” sufficient funds to cover security costs.

Romea was struck by the fact that some Stanford students seem to think marriage should be an off-limits topic for her group. The irony to her was that although the lecture forum is designed to be a place where diverse ideas can be expressed, some were disgruntled that invited speakers would oppose the redefinition of marriage. She said:

"A void in the campus discourse exists regarding marriage, family, and human sexuality. At best, deviations from these values are viewed as strange, while at worst, they’re the result of bigotry and hatred — as we saw with the funding controversy regarding this conference.”

Romea didn’t press ahead alone, though. She attributes the success of the event to the hard work and courage of fellow SAS leaders Elisa Figueroa and James Capps, as well as planning committee members Irene Onyeneho and Josephine Romea (her sister).

Through it all, Romea says, her mother cheered her on. When she thought twice about holding the conference, her mother encouraged her, saying, “Why would you back down when anything that is good requires a lot of sacrifice and a lot of tenacity?” Romea felt her confidence return.

“Standing up for marriage [takes] a commitment to living your life according to your principles,” she said.

Marriage advocates need each other at a time when they are being tarred as bigots or worse, she told The Foundry.

“It’s beautiful to be able to collaborate with other individuals on something like this,” she said, adding:

"If the whole controversy has taught me anything, it’s that the fight for marriage and family will be won, not by shouting down the other side, but through teamwork and friendship of the kind demonstrated by the Stanford Anscombe Society’s members and supporters.”

  Degree Doesn't Make You A $Million
Posted by: Armando Ramos - 04-11-2014, 08:33 PM - Forum: General Education Discussions - No Replies

Quote:A College Degree Does Not Make You a Million Dollars
Friday, April 11, 2014 by Andrew Syrios

It is becoming substantially less difficult these days to convince people that college is not a sure fire way to the good life. Even Paul Krugman has conceded that “it’s no longer true that having a college degree guarantees that you’ll get a good job.” You can say that again: 53 percent of recent graduates are either jobless or underemployed. Unfortunately, myths die hard. Many people still believe as Hillary Clinton once said, “Graduates from four-year colleges earn nearly an estimated one million dollars more [than high school graduates].” This may sound convincing, but this figure — based on a Census Bureau report — is about as true as it is relevant.

After all, isn’t it true that the most hard-working and intelligent people tend more to go to college? This is not a nature vs. nurture argument, the factors behind these qualities are unrelated to the discussion at hand. If one grants, however, that the more ambitious and talented go to college in greater proportion than their peers, Mrs. Clinton could have just said “the most hard-working and intelligent earn nearly an estimated one million dollars more than their peers.” I think the presses need not be stopped.

For one thing, the Census Bureau estimate includes super-earners such as CEO’s which skew the average upward. Although some, such as Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, didn’t graduate college, most did. This is why it’s better to use the median (the middle number in the data set) than the mean or average. It’s also why Hillary Clinton and other repeaters of this factoid don’t.

Furthermore, just because most smart people go to college doesn’t mean they should. They may earn more money, but what they keep is more important than what they make. Financial columnist Jack Hough created a very illuminating hypothetical scenario with two people, one who chooses college and one who enters the labor force after high school. Hough then uses the average cost of college as well as U.S. Census Bureau data for the average income of college graduates and non-graduates, adjusted for age. He assumes both save and invest 5 percent of their income each year. By the age of 65, how does the net worth of each look?
• College Graduate: $400,000

• High School Graduate: $1,300,000

When one thinks about the common narrative of college vs. no college, it truly becomes absurd. Indeed, who exactly are we comparing? We’re not only comparing Jane-Lawyer to Joe-Carpenter, but we’re also comparing financial analysts with the mentally disabled, medical doctors with welfare dependents, building engineers with drug addicts, architects with pan handlers, marketing directors with immigrants who can barely speak English, and university professors with career criminals (whose earnings, by the way, are rarely reported). Many of these troubled people didn’t graduate high school, but it is shocking how they shuffle kids through the system these days. Some 50 percent of Detroit high school graduates are functionally illiterate and it isn’t that much better for the country on the whole. And something tells me that these particular non-graduates need something other than four years of drinking and studying Lockean (well, more likely Marxian) philosophy.

It certainly could be a good thing to earn a college degree. If one wants to be an accountant, engineer, or doctor, a degree is required. And those jobs have very high incomes. But can one really expect to make a killing with a degree in sociology or Medieval-African-Women’s-Military-Ethnic Studies? Pretty much the only jobs those degrees help one get, in any way other than the “hey, they got a college degree” sort of way, are jobs teaching sociology or Medieval-African-Women’s-Military-Ethnic Studies. And that requires an advanced degree as well (i.e., more money down the tube).

Furthermore, a college degree does not even guarantee a particularly high income. CBS News ran an article on the 20 worst-paying college degrees. The worst was Child and Family Studies with a starting average salary of $29,500 and a mid-career average of $38,400. Art History came in 20th with a starting average of $39,400 and a mid-career average of $57,100. Other degrees in between included elementary education, culinary arts, religious studies, nutrition, and music.

These are decent salaries, but are they worth the monetary and opportunity costs? With the wealth of information on the Internet, many skills can be attained on one’s own. Alternatives to college such as entrepreneurship and apprenticeship programs are often ignored. Indeed, apprentices typically get paid for their work while they are learning. The average yearly wage of a plumber and electrician are $52,950 and $53,030 respectively. That’s better than many college degrees and comes without the debt.

And that debt is getting bigger and bigger as college tuition continues to rise. In the last five years, tuition has gone up 24 percent more than inflation. Including books, supplies, transportation and other costs, in-state college students paid an average of $17,860 for one year in 2013 (out-of-state students paid substantially more). And despite all of that, many students don’t even finish. According to US News & World Report,

Studies have shown that nonselective colleges graduate, on average, 35 percent of their students, while the most competitive schools graduate 88 percent. Harvard’s 97 percent four-year graduation rate might not be that surprising ... [but then] Texas Southern University’s rate was 12 percent.

12 percent is simply ridiculous, but the 35 percent for nonselective schools is extremely bad as well. Even the 88 percent for competitive schools leaves 12 percent of their students with no degree, but plenty of debt.

Given all of that, it can’t be surprising that the default rates on student loans (which cannot be wiped away in bankruptcy) appear to be much higher than is typically reported. According to The Chronicle,

[O]ne in every five government loans that entered repayment in 1995 has gone into default. The default rate is higher for loans made to students from two-year colleges, and higher still, reaching 40 percent, for those who attended for-profit institutions ...

[T]he government’s official “cohort-default rate,” which measures the percentage of borrowers who default in the first two years of repayment and is used to penalize colleges with high rates, downplays the long-term cost of defaults, capturing only a sliver of the loans that eventually lapse ...

College is good for some people. If you want to go into a field that has high earning potential (engineering, medicine, accounting, etc.) or you really like a certain subject and want to dedicate your career to it even if it may not be the best financial decision, go for it. But don’t go to college just because as Colin Hanks says in Orange County, “that’s what you do after high school!”

RA OSU Pays $101K For Trashing Conservative Paper
Posted by: Albert Hidel - 04-06-2014, 03:41 AM - Forum: General Education Discussions - No Replies

The great state of Oregon is at it again. Not content with supporting anti-Christian bigotry and civil rights violations, the state is now paying for trashing a conservative newspaper. The First Amendment was adopted in 1791, but apparently the news hasn't reached Oregon yet.

Supporters of the newspaper called The Liberty sued Oregon State in 2009, alleging the university president and other school officials granted the official campus newspaper numerous bins while trashing distribution boxes for The Liberty.Alliance Defending Freedom

[Regionally accredited] Oregon State University has paid $1,000 plus $100,000 in legal fees to a former student to settle a lawsuit over the confiscation of distribution boxes for a conservative-leaning student newspaper.

Supporters of the newspaper called The Liberty sued the school in 2009, alleging the university president and other school officials granted the official campus newspaper numerous bins while restricting The Liberty's distribution.

The suit alleged that school officials confiscated distribution bins for The Liberty and tossed them onto a trash heap. The bins, which contained copies of the paper, were allegedly removed without notice and thrown next to a dumpster.

Lower-ranking campus officials said they removed The Liberty's boxes to beautify the campus, but distribution bins for the campus paper were reportedly left untouched. Top school officials said they had not ordered the destruction.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals had revived the lawsuit after a U.S. District Court judge dismissed it. The appeals court ruled that it had “little trouble finding constitutional violations” and that the university's policy that led to the alleged trashing "materialized like a bolt out of the blue."

The Oregonian reported that the university did not acknowledge wrongdoing but agreed to the six-figure payout to William Rogers to end the lawsuit, which was dismissed Wednesday.

Months after the lawsuit was filed by Alliance Defending Freedom, a legal firm specializing in religious liberty cases, the university changed its policies to allow approved student groups that publish newspapers to distribute them on campus.

“We hope this case will encourage public officials everywhere to respect the freedom of students to engage in the marketplace of ideas that a public university is supposed to be,” David Hacker, an attorney with the Arizona-based group said in a statement. “The university has done the right thing, not only through changing their unconstitutional policy, but also by compensating the students for the violation of their First Amendment freedoms.”

Rogers was the paper's executive editor at the time. The Oregonian reported that The Liberty ceased operations at Oregon State after 2009.

  Alan Contreras = Homofascist
Posted by: Albert Hidel - 04-05-2014, 10:01 AM - Forum: Alan Contreras - Replies (1)

Perverts like Alan Contreras and his associates use the accreditation issue to advance their anti-Christian homosexual agenda. Anyone who dares to assert their First Amendment rights is a target for persecution by the Gaystapo.

Quote:Why Are They Called ‘Homofascists’? Here’s Why…
Matt Barber on 3 April, 2014 at 22:30

Many Christians have been warning for years that the radical homosexual activist lobby is made up of Christian-hating fascists who are in rebellion against both God and nature, who are hell-bent on criminalizing Christianity and pushing to the fringes anyone who publicly acknowledges natural human sexuality and the age-old, immutable institution of legitimate marriage as created by God.

Sadly, many people, even many Christians, think that I and others are using hyperbole when we refer to this sexual anarchist “LGBT” movement as “homofascist” or the “Gaystapo.” I hope you’ll think again. It’s time to wake up and smell the impending anti-Christian persecution. It’s fully at hand.

BarbWire contributor Laurie Higgins, commenting on the Washington Examiner story below, summed it up well in an email tonight:

“CEO and co-founder of Mozilla (and inventor of JavaScript) Brendan Eich is forced to resign because of his $1,000 donation to Prop 8 six years ago. So, I guess it’s semi-official: American citizens who believe marriage is inherently sexually complementary cannot work in America–not even in their own companies. First Amendment: R.I.P.”

Reports the Washington Examiner:

Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich resigned under pressure after gay rights activists demanded that he step down or recant his support of traditional marriage laws.

Eich donated $1,000 to support Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative that amended the state’s constitution to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

“I don’t want to talk about my personal beliefs because I kept them out of Mozilla all these 15 years we’ve been going,” Eich told The Guardian. “I don’t believe they’re relevant.”

That wasn’t an option. “CEO Brendan Eich should make an unequivocal statement of support for marriage equality,” a Credoaction petition signed by almost 75,000 people said, per The Inquirer. “If he cannot, he should resign. And if he will not, the board should fire him immediately.”

When asked if his beliefs about marriage should constitute a firing offense the way racism or sexism does, Eich argued that these religious beliefs — and beliefs popular as of 2008 — should not be used as a basis for dismissal.

“I don’t believe that’s true, on the basis of what’s permissible to support or vote on in 2008,” he told CNET. “It’s still permissible. Beliefs that are protected, that include political and religious speech, are generally not something that can be held against even a CEO. I understand there are people who disagree with me on this one.”

Oh, oh, Mr. Eich, how wrong you are. That’s the America we used to live in. That’s the America of our founding. Welcome to “Amerika.” Homofascism is the order of the day and Christian “intolerance” simply will not be tolerated. That was before we became the godless, wicked nation we are today. A once-great nation that now takes “pride” in calling “evil good and good evil.”

Continues the Examiner:

On Thursday, Mozilla announced that he had resigned. “Mozilla prides itself on being held to a different standard and, this past week, we didn’t live up to it,” executive chairwoman Mitchell Baker wrote. “We know why people are hurt and angry, and they are right: it’s because we haven’t stayed true to ourselves. We didn’t act like you’d expect Mozilla to act. We didn’t move fast enough to engage with people once the controversy started. We’re sorry. We must do better.”

Do you see what’s happening? Did you read that? That’s fear — deathly fear. Fear of a radical, hateful, intolerant, obnoxious, fascist, evil and power-crazed group of sex-obsessed anarchists who demand that we all affirmatively celebrate their deviant and self-destructive sexual sins and unnatural perversions.

Christians, buckle up. Your whole world is about to change. The Rainbowshirts are emboldened and they’ve broken out the long knives. “Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence” – Psalm 73:6.

They smell blood in the water. I’ve often said that these folks want those who speak Biblical truth about human sexuality and legitimate marriage either 1) dead, 2) imprisoned or, if they can have neither of these, 3) marginalized to the point where they can’t even support their families.

Check No. 3 off the list. I guess they’re working backwards.

Freedom is hanging on by a thread, America, and it is those who worship the sin of Sodom that are determined to finish it off once and for all.

  Does George Gollin Have Syphilis?

Quote:Does George Gollin Have Syphilis?

Candidate's Bizarre Behavior Suggests Brain Disease

Syphilis may be the cause of a Congressional candidate's recent bizarre behavior, medical experts have said.

George Gollin, the bald, bespectacled Democrat candidate for Congress in Illinois' 13th district, has exhibited public behavior recently that some observers described as "screwball," "cuckoo," "lame," "dishonest," "a joke," "silly," "goofy," "idiotic" "pitiful," "pathetic" and "absolutely bizarre", according to published reports.

Secondary stage syphilis symptoms include hair loss, while late (tertiary) stage syphilis symptoms include gradual blindness and dementia, experts said. Medical specialists agreed that George Gollin's peculiar conduct is consistent with the cognitive dysfunction associated with brain injury or disease, including syphilis.

Absent a complete physical and mental examination, doctors could not say with certainty that George Gollin is now free from syphilis or any other contagious disease.

However, doctors cautioned that anyone who has had any kind of physical contact with George Gollin should seek medical advice immediately. This includes both intimate contact as well as casual contact, such as shaking hands at a campaign rally.

Gay Activist George Gollin Trounced In Primary

Wow, the election isn't even until next Tuesday, March 18, 2014, and they are already writing George Gollin's political obituary.

True, Gollin's fantasy foray into politics was even more laughably inept and stillborn than his debacle as a self-proclaimed degree mill "expert." But you would think they might at least wait until after the votes were counted.

Oh wait, this is the Illinois Democrat party we're talking about. The votes have already been counted!

Quote:Gay Activist George Gollin Trounced In Primary
Mar 13 (16 hours ago)

Democrat voters in Illinois' 13th Congressional district primary election soundly rejected Marxist college professor George Gollin and his radical homosexual agenda Tuesday. Former judge Ann Callis easily outclassed the elderly self-described "crackpot" by a huge margin.

Gollin blamed his crushing defeat on "Papists" and "bitter Bible-clinging tea baggers." Gollin admitted that stalking Callis at her campaign headquarters and running obviously false attack ads was a "strategic error," but only because "I didn't do it enough." He said that next election he would do more stalking and tell even more outrageous lies, and vowed to "drive that little bitch to her knees, where she belongs."

When asked if his racist "eggplant" slurs and illegal "astroturf" campaign ads might have contributed to his humiliating loss, Gollin started sobbing and blamed it all on the ineptness of his campaign manager, Monica Biddix. "It's always the women who stand in my way," said Gollin sullenly. "Next time I'm going to get 15 people to do all the work for me, just like I did with my dissertation."

Republican insiders privately expressed regret that Gollin made such a feeble showing. They anticipated an easy victory for incumbent Rep. Rodney Davis in November in the unlikely event that a complete raving idiot like George Gollin had won the Democrat nomination.

Looking for ideas on my NCU PhD credits
Posted by: seizer - 03-05-2014, 09:24 AM - Forum: Distance Learning Discussion - Replies (1)

I've got 21 credits from the NCU PhD program. I was doing the applied computer science program and then my work funding dried up. That left me in the lurch for finishing up. My time for the 7 yr program came and went and now I'm stuck with 21 credits. They don't even do a certificate in the applied computer science program so I'm just stuck with some learning.

I had been looking at the Aspen DSc program. That seems an OK fit for me. Maybe even a doctorate in something like homeland security, with a computer science, bent would work. I've got and MBA, too. So, varied background. I'm at the point now where I'd like to go at the doctorate again. I don't really care about teaching at all either...so maybe RA isn't that big of a deal. I would like to stick with some accredited angle, such as national, DETC, TRACS, foreign, or RA.

I've looked at Colorado Tech but that's ridiculously expensive. I'm at the point I am paying for it myself and interested in starting it soon. I'd discount programs like Indiana State mainly because it takes forever to get started in it and I am anxious to get going soon. Although that's a great program, too.

There might be other ideas I have missed at this point. Likely folks on this forum might know of some programs I haven't thought about.
