  Links to Gollin G-Man Impersonation
Posted by: Martin Eisenstadt - 05-27-2009, 04:56 PM - Forum: George Gollin - Replies (3)

Is George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) really impersonating law enforcement, representing his lame ass as being a "government official"???

Long-timers remember reading it, and the incident has been referred to many times here.  But nobody had a link to the defunct board where George Gollin's guilt was revealed.

Until now.

The poster using the handle "Pastor" is Pastor Jonathan Kruschel, a WELS minister in Michigan who was identified as possibly being the scumbag "Uncle Janko," later identified by John Bear as John Weaver-Hudson of Hartford, Michigan.

I was contacted by a government official concerning my picture and information being maliciously posted at this sight.  Please take my picture off this site immediately otherwise legal action will need to be taken.  If there are questions concerning who I am, please go to the sight that you originally took this information from.

Appreciate having my picture and that of my family removed.  Attempted to say thanks earlier, but was unable to post it.  The "Government Official" is a professor of physics from the University of Illinois who has been hired by the government to monitor acitivity at certain sites.  Don't ask me why this one was chosen besides that it has had problems in the past.  I was just as surprised as anyone else to receive a phone call yesterday morning telling me to look at this specific site.  If you are looking for a certain WELS pastor, try www.wels.net.

So whose word do we take?  That of a decent Christian man who has dedicated his life to God's service, and who has no motive to lie?  Or that of a Marxist college professor who posted 1280 times on a discussion board owned by a gay pornographer, who turned over his banned "research" to an adjudicated civil rights violator, etc., etc.?

Big Grin the incoherent narrative of degreeinfo and degreediscussion 'experts'
Posted by: ham - 05-25-2009, 02:13 PM - Forum: Nominees, second-stringers, others - No Replies

Much as I always said, the narratives of the pundits, 'experts' and sandbox kings at degreeinfo and degreediscussion seems to me most often incoherent and hallucinating as modernist prose is.
In order to clarify the point, here are a couple quotes from Kafka's short stories.
The only problem is that Kafka was a writer who imagined things, while they think they are always 100% correct...

Quote:and the street level.
"As I passed the fire station I heard a noise coming from the Kleiner Ring, and as I turned
into it I saw a drunk standing by the iron railing of the fountain, his arms held out sideways and his
feet in wooden shoes stamping the ground.
"Stopping to get my breath, I went up to him, raised my top hat, and introduced myself:
" 'Good evening, gentle nobleman, I am twenty-three years of age, but as yet I have no name.
But you, no doubt, hail from the great city of Paris -- bearing extraordinary, well-nigh singable
names. You are surrounded by the quite unnatural odor of the dissolute Court of France. No doubt
your tinted eyes have beheld those great ladies standing on the high shining terrace, ironically
twisting their narrow waists while the ends of their decorated trains, spread over the steps, are still
lying on the sand in the garden. -- And surely, menservants in daringly cut gray tailcoats and white
knee breeches climb tall poles, their legs hugging them but their torsos frequently bent back and to
the side, for they have to raise enormous gray linen sheets off the ground with thick ropes and
spread them in the air, because the great lady has expressed the wish for a misty morning.'
"When he belched I felt almost frightened. 'Is it really true, sir,' I said, 'that you hail from our
Paris, from that tempestuous Paris -- ah, from that luxuriant hailstorm?'
"When he belched again, I said with embarrassment: 'I know, a great honor is being
bestowed upon me.'

Quote:From the thicket on the opposite bank four naked men strode vehemently forth, carrying on
their shoulders a wooden litter. On this litter sat, Oriental fashion, a monstrously fat man. Although
carried through the thicket on an untrodden path, he did not push the thorny branches apart but
simply let his motionless body thrust through them. -...-

The fat man turned slowly in the direction of the flowing water and was carried down the
river like a yellow wooden idol which had become useless and so had been cast into the river. He
sailed along on the reflection of the rain cloud. Elongated clouds pulled and small hunched ones
pushed him, creating considerable commotion, the effect of which could even be noticed by the
lapping of water against my knees and the stones on the shore.
I crept quickly up the slope so as to be able to accompany the fat man on his way, for I truly
loved him.

Sad Who the hell do these people think they are?
Posted by: Little Arminius - 05-23-2009, 10:55 PM - Forum: Unaccredited vs. State-Approved vs. Accredited - Replies (29)

This thread is unbelievable. Some know-nothing, Gin Ichimaru (name of a Japanese cartoon character of questionable sexuality), started stirring the shit by reporting that accredited Grand Canyon University may accept some old Warren National University transfer credits. He even provided the contact name at GCU.

Long-time degreeinfo poster Ian Anderson then pointed out that GCU already had a published policy that prohibited such a transfer and that accepting such credits could cause problems with their accreditor (North Central Association).

Heiks and Kizmet then jumped in with irrelevancies. Then a GCU rep, Larry Biffin, jumped in and said that anyone interested in transferring from WNU should contact him directly. At this point, Chip responded by stating that someone should make a report to the North Central Association. Tailpipe Chip was clearly troubled that an RA school would even consider awarding transfer credit to a student coming from an unaccredited school. He then intimated that there may have been some impropriety involved in such an agreement between GCU and WNU before making an anti-Christian slur.

Ian Anderson then tried to elicit some info from Biffin before that loser Huffman posted his 2 cents worth. The outrageous thread came to a (temporary, I'm sure) close with Kizmet again posting one of the stupid sayings she is becoming infamous for.

outrageous degreeinfo thread

Why is this outrageous and why do I care? In many ways I don't. However, if someone made the bad choice to enroll with WNU, realized it was a mistake and is now looking elsewhere, isn't it the right thing to do to help them find better educational alternatives? The Gang always touted the virtues of the RA Gold Standard; GCU is RA so what is the problem?

The truth is that weirdos like enema salesman Chip, online stalker Huffman and Kizmet don't care about the transfer students at all. They want to ridicule and punish those who made bad school choices for whatever reason. They don't want to permit these people to move on with their academic lives, at least not until they have extracted their pound of flesh.

I will point out that you don't see Gollin, Sainz, Jack Tracey, etc. stooping to this level of pettiness. Those guys just want the pat on the back and the acknowledgement that they are right and everyone else in the world is wrong. It is all about their egos. This is one big difference between DI and DD at present. It brings into question Ted Heiks motivation for jumping ship from DD to DI.

  Obama = President Pantywaist
Posted by: Herbert Spencer - 05-22-2009, 01:16 PM - Forum: General Education Discussions - Replies (3)

Our friends in the UK have the perspective that many people in the US lack.  God save Gerald Warner:

Barack Obama: President Pantywaist - new surrender monkey on the block

Quote:Posted By: Gerald Warner at Apr 10, 2009 at 10:20:05

President Barack Obama has recently completed the most successful foreign policy tour since Napoleon's retreat from Moscow. You name it, he blew it. What was his big deal economic programme that he was determined to drive through the G20 summit? Another massive stimulus package, globally funded and co-ordinated. Did he achieve it? Not so as you'd notice.

Barack is not the first New World ingenue to discover that European leaders will load him with praise, struggle sycophantically to be photographed with him and outdo him in Utopian rhetoric. But when it comes to the critical moment of opening their wallets - suddenly it is flag-day in Aberdeen. Okay, put the G20 down to inexperience, beginner's nerves, what you will.

On to Nato and the next big objective: to persuade the same European evasion experts that America, Britain and Canada should no longer bear the brunt of the Afghan struggle virtually unassisted. The Old World sucked through its teeth, said that was asking a lot - but, seeing it was Barack, to whom they could refuse nothing, they would graciously accede to his wishes.

So The One retired triumphant, having secured a massive contribution of 5,000 extra troops - all of them non-combatant, of course - which must really have put the wind up the Taliban, at the prospect of 5,000 more infidel cooks and bottle-washers swarming into the less hazardous regions of Afghanistan.

Then came the dramatic bit, the authentic West Wing script, with the President wakened in the middle of the night in Prague to be told that Kim Jong-il had just launched a Taepodong-2 missile. America had Aegis destroyers tracking the missile and could have shot it down. But Uncle Sam had a sterner reprisal in store for l'il ole Kim (as Dame Edna might call him): a multi-megaton strike of Obama hot air.

"Rules must be binding," declared Obama, referring to the fact that Kim had just breached UN Resolutions 1695 and 1718. "Violations must be punished." (Sounds ominous.) "Words must mean something." (Why, Barack? They never did before, for you - as a cursory glance at your many speeches will show.)

President Pantywaist is hopping mad and he has a strategy to cut Kim down to size: he is going to slice $1.4bn off America's missile defence programme, presumably on the calculation that Kim would feel it unsporting to hit a sitting duck, so that will spoil his fun.

Watch out, France and Co, there is a new surrender monkey on the block and, over the next four years, he will spectacularly sell out the interests of the West with every kind of liberal-delusionist initiative on nuclear disarmament and sitting down to negotiate with any power freak who wants to buy time to get a good ICBM fix on San Francisco, or wherever. If you thought the world was a tad unsafe with Dubya around, just wait until President Pantywaist gets into his stride.

Barack Obama and the CIA: why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?
Quote:Posted By: Gerald Warner at Apr 24, 2009 at 18:41:00

If al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the rest of the Looney Tunes brigade want to kick America to death, they had better move in quickly and grab a piece of the action before Barack Obama finishes the job himself. Never in the history of the United States has a president worked so actively against the interests of his own people - not even Jimmy Carter.

Obama's problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution. Obama is not at war with terrorists, but with his Republican fellow citizens. He has never abandoned the campaign trail.

That is why he opened Pandora's Box by publishing the Justice Department's legal opinions on waterboarding and other hardline interrogation techniques. He cynically subordinated the national interest to his partisan desire to embarrass the Republicans. Then he had to rush to Langley, Virginia to try to reassure a demoralised CIA that had just discovered the President of the United States was an even more formidable foe than al-Qaeda.

"Don't be discouraged by what's happened the last few weeks," he told intelligence officers. Is he kidding? Thanks to him, al-Qaeda knows the private interrogation techniques available to the US intelligence agencies and can train its operatives to withstand them - or would do so, if they had not already been outlawed.

So, next time a senior al-Qaeda hood is captured, all the CIA can do is ask him nicely if he would care to reveal when a major population centre is due to be hit by a terror spectacular, or which American city is about to be irradiated by a dirty bomb. Your view of this situation will be dictated by one simple criterion: whether or not you watched the people jumping from the twin towers.

Obama promised his CIA audience that nobody would be prosecuted for past actions. That has already been contradicted by leftist groups with a revanchist ambition to put Republicans, headed if possible by Condoleezza Rice, in the dock. Talk about playing party politics with national security. Martin Scheinin, the United Nations special investigator for human rights, claims that senior figures, including former vice president Dick Cheney, could face prosecution overseas. Ponder that - once you have got over the difficulty of locating the United Nations and human rights within the same dimension.

President Pantywaist Obama should have thought twice before sitting down to play poker with Dick Cheney. The former vice president believes documents have been selectively published and that releasing more will prove how effective the interrogation techniques were. Under Dubya's administration, there was no further atrocity on American soil after 9/11.

President Pantywaist's recent world tour, cosying up to all the bad guys, excited the ambitions of America's enemies. Here, they realised, is a sucker they can really take to the cleaners. His only enemies are fellow Americans. Which prompts the question: why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?

AICU to SACS: Blow it out!
Posted by: Martin Eisenstadt - 05-19-2009, 09:01 PM - Forum: Distance Learning Discussion - Replies (7)

After being put on probation for two years by SACS, American InterContinental University regained their SACS accreditation in December, 2007.  They promptly turned around and applied for accreditation by NCACS.  AICU announced yesterday that now it has been granted accreditation by NCACS.

American InterContinental University Granted Accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association

Quote:AIU, which has been accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) since 1987, chose to seek HLC accreditation in order to better reflect the fact that the majority of its students are served through its Internet-based campus which is based in the HLC geographic region.

SACS seems to be downright hostile to online programs, and since the "majority" of AICU's students are doing online programs, it's not surprising they ran into trouble.  Time for SACS to get in touch with the 21st Century.  Wasn't it Tennessee's Al Gore who claimed he invented the internet?  Somebody needs to let those SACS dirt clods in on the news.

Gay pornographer at the White House
Posted by: ham - 05-16-2009, 09:03 PM - Forum: Chip White - No Replies

Quote:February 18, 2005—Now that is has been discovered that "Jeff Gannon" (real name James D. Guckert), a "reporter" for Talon News Service, a front operation run by the conservative Republican-oriented GOPUSA.com, was using an alias as a cleared White House reporter, details are emerging that threaten to immerse the Bush administration in a major scandal.

"Gannongate," which is only now being mentioned by the mainstream news media, threatens to expose a potentially damaging GOP pedophile and male prostitution ring dating back to the 1980s and the administration of George H. W. Bush. James D. Guckert, using the name Jeff Gannon and possibly other aliases, was also running gay porn sites, one with a U.S. Marine Corps theme that solicited males for prostitution.

White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan said he did not realize Gannon was using an alias until recently. However, rumors in the gay community are circulating about McClellan frequenting gay bars in Austin, Texas. Gannon bypassed established Secret Service security controls, including a background check requiring a social security number, to obtain a White House press pass that identified him by an alias, an action seen by many seasoned Washington journalists as only being possible if he had favorable treatment from White House staff, especially McClellan.

One White House reporter expressed revulsion over the fact that it was Fleischer who took away press credential from the late long-time White House correspondent Sarah McClendon and handed them to Gannon.

  Ted Nugent On "Water"
Posted by: Albert Hidel - 05-16-2009, 10:00 AM - Forum: Unaccredited vs. State-Approved vs. Accredited - Replies (1)

Ted makes a nice metaphor in his recent column.  He's talking about guns, but he could just as easily be talking about legit unaccredited degrees.

Quote:Water, water, everywhere water. Know it, embrace it, manage it or drown. Same goes for cars, trucks, chainsaws, knives, crowbars, blowtorches, teakettles and guns. Based on the inept, clumsy, irresponsible failure of braindead, uncoordinated nitwits, I will not be denied the pragmatic, functional utility of anything.

I will not drown, drink and drive, chainsaw massacre anyone, stumble, slice, burn or shoot myself, nor will I ever hold up a bank. So the best advice would be to think, improvise, adapt and overcome, man-up, but by all means, leave me the hell alone. You don’t ban electric guitars just because someone may have a lapse in logic, goodwill and decency and spontaneously break out into country and western music. The vast majority of sensible people will use electric guitars as God intended and whip out good, sexy rock-n-roll licks.

I need my water, cars, trucks, chainsaws, knives, crowbars, blowtorches, scalding hot water, guitars and guns, thank you. Amazingly, I have mastered them all, and they are all wonderful ingredients for my American Dream of rugged individualism, declared independence, and self sufficiency. They all serve me well, and I am not giving any of them up. Ever.

The masses must never be controlled for the sake of the lunatic fringe. Remember “Don’t Tread on Me”? Just don’t. ...

Some higher education content too, regarding massacres at, inter alia, RA Gold Standard institutions of higher learning:
Quote:It is indeed Ted Kennedy’s gun ban dream of “gunfreezones” that have proven to be the guaranteed slaughter zones where the most innocent lives are lost every time. Think Columbine, Virginia Tech, Lane Bryant, Northwest Illinois University, New Jersey, Salt Lake City and Omaha Malls, Luby’s Cafeteria, Calgary University, Toronto, Washington DC, Chicago, Boston, Flight 93, the mayor's office in San Francisco, ad nauseum.

Peace and love will get you killed, and unarmed helplessness is a welcome mat for evil. Common sense, that is, unless of course your anthem goes baaa….. baaa…… baaa.

So why in God’s good name would any human being wish to force unarmed helplessness on another? That level of cruel indecency and forced victimization is incomprehensible to me and about 100,000,000 Americans who own guns and believe in self defense. The lunatic fringe left won't dare touch the issue of gun control. Self defense is the most powerful, driving instinct in good people everywhere. To deny this, is evil personified.

Write this down: Gun Free Zones are a felon’s playgrounds. Ban Gun Free Zones now. Join the NRA.

Good people don’t want the rapist to succeed. We want him dead. We don’t want our homes invaded. We want the invaders dead. We don’t like carjackers. We like them dead. We don’t like armed robbers. We like them dead.

We have examined all the evidence we could possibly need to know that calling 911 is a joke, unless of course they bring a dustpan and a mop to clean up the dead monster we just shot while protecting our family.

The choice is clear: gun control as the Chuck Schumers of the world try to force on us is complicit in every violent crime committed. Conversely, gun control a la Ted Nugent is putting the second shot through the same hole as the first shot, where innocent lives are saved and recidivistic maggots come to a screeching halt, felled by the lovely ballet of good over evil we call the Double Tap Center Mass Boogie. Learn it, know it, love it, shoot it. Good guys should live, bad guys not so much. ...

  CHEA Tabs Argosy's Swenson
Posted by: Herbert Spencer - 05-15-2009, 02:21 PM - Forum: General Education Discussions - Replies (2)

http://chea.org/news/NR_2009.05.05_Swenson.htm

Quote:Dr. Craig D. Swenson, President of Argosy University, has been elected to the board of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), effective July 1, 2009. He was elected to a two-year term during the organization's annual board meeting, held April 27-28 in Washington, D.C.

CHEA serves as a national advocate and institutional voice that seeks to maintain the excellence of its 3,000 degree-granting colleges and universities by promoting self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation. The association recognizes 60 institutional and programmatic accrediting organizations.

Dr. Swenson was named President of Argosy University in September 2007. He previously served as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Western Governors University and, prior to that, served for seven years as Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs for the University of Phoenix system.

Dr. Swenson received his Bachelor's degree the University of Utah, a Master of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. from Walden University.
Now this is the sort of guy we like to see holding the wheel at CHEA. He's got a PhD from Walden, a name player in the DL sphere. He's a top admin at Argosy, a uni that is heavy into DL programs, plus he's worked at WGU and UoP, both of whom also are major DL unis. This is clearly a guy who understands non-traditional education and distance learning first hand, both as a student and as an administrator. What a refreshing change of pace from previous picks, such as the self-promoting rat turd who doesn't have the first clue what CHEA does.

Shy George Gollin Attacks US Military
Posted by: Educational Truth - 05-14-2009, 06:33 AM - Forum: George Gollin - Replies (21)

George Gollin has apparently started attacking current and former members of the US Military and Department of Defense in his quest to rid the world of all supposed holders of degrees from Saint Regis University. He doesn't seem to care that some of these individuals have served their country honorably in combat and have been highly decorated for risking their lives in service to this Great Nation. I wonder how many of the soldiers and NCOs mentioned in this article were true victims of the Saint Regis scam. Remember at one time, Saint Regis was considered legal and authenicated so by some recognized credential evaluators in the United States. What I find utter appalling is his malicious reporting of this story to the media in an effort to continue patting himself on the back for his supposed contribution to the downfall of Dixie Randock. Of course he fails to mention he is the source of the report to WHNT.
