Tom, just what "we" do you share with millist and Nations University fake college namesake Muhammad Schmidt? I can't conceive of any whatever. Nations is being used by Schmidt as a vehicle of legitimisation (sic). Sincerity is crap: let that be our watchword. Consider your real degrees, real ministry, etc; Schmidt's series of phony archbishopric, phony Islam, phony Serbian college, phony Polish degrees, internet hate sites, unremitting attacks on Bill for being real, etc., etc., has nothing in common with anything of yours except original sin.
What you represent is antithetical to Schmidt. Sloppy talk of 'sincerity" is neither Christian nor worthy of an educated man of integrity. It is a plague of American bonhomie we are all better off without, because it makes beneficiaries of bad people like Muhammad Wolfgang G. A. Schmidt.
Blessings on your ministry and learning.

I honestly don't understand PhD failure Janko's motivation. Schmidt is a graduate of a great German university, has published endless books and papers, including translations from Chinese to German. He is a true and respected academic. Janko is an academic failure. His church is buried in a butthole of a tiny Michigan town because they fear the damage he could do with a bigger congregation. He's one scary SOB.

State diploma authorization office goes after Marino's Ph.D.
Quote:Posted by The Oregonian May 05, 2008 17:04PM
Tigard Republican Tony Marino definitely won't be able to flex his Ph.D. creds in Oregon anymore.
Last week, the candidate for Oregon House 35 inserted a unique tell-all letter into local newspapers, outlining the mistakes he's made and how he's learned from them. Among his admitted shortcomings: a marketing doctorate from an on-line university that's not accredited in Oregon.
Marino hasn't touted the diploma from Ashwood University in political material, but downloadable books available on his business Web site (www.americawebworks.com) referred to him as "Tony Marino, Ph.D."
On Monday, the state Office of Degree Authorization sent a letter asking him to back up his claim with an official transcript. Oregon is among a dozen states, including Washington, that polices pretty strictly who can claim an advanced degree.
Ashwood University offers all sorts of diplomas, starting at $239, and gives credit for life experience.
"As far as I know, it's a fake," said Alan Contreras, administrator of the Office of Degree Authorization.
Marino, an Internet marketing consultant who co-hosts a weekly show on-line, said he'll remove the references right away. He wants to do the right thing, he said, and did not know he had been violating a state law.
"Obviously, I believe based on my life's experience, and my service to my country and all the other things I've done professionally in my life, I believe I deserve it."
-Janie Har
A degree from Ashwood University is about as queer as Gay Al. Anybody who would run for public office with such a degree and claim to be "Dr." anything is too dumb to be in a position of public responsibility.
So does Gay Al inspect the credentials of every candidate for public office in Oregon to make sure they pass his whimsical degree acceptablity test?
Or does he just get aroused when he finds a conservative he can assault? Given his track record for attacking fundamentalist Christians and anyone else who opposes degenerate perverts like him, it seems like yet another instance of Arbitrary Al's selective enforcement of Oregon's ridiculous laws against people whose political views he doesn't like.
Would he enforce this law against a Democrat candidate? Nobody knows, it's never happened.

Quote:Clayton College of Natural Health Awarded Quality Certification by United States Distance Learning Association
04.23.2008, Birmingham—Clayton College of Natural Health has been awarded the Quality Standards Certification by the United States Distance Learning Association.
USDLA/QS certification is “a standards based program that recognizes excellence across a range of distance learning settings,” according to Dr. John G. Flores, USDLA Chief Executive Officer. Clayton College has been certified as an Alternative and Continuing Education provider under the Quality Standards program. Based on a rigorous peer review process, it is designed both to protect the public and to improve the distance learning experience.
“USDLA Quality Standards certification is a stringent program. The college can be justifiably proud of its accomplishment,” said Dr. Flores. “Even greater, though, is the confidence this gives students. With certification comes the assurance of fair treatment within a strong, responsive distance learning program. And because ‘continuous improvement’ is built–in — the school gets better and better!”
A school undergoing the certification process must agree to abide by the USDLA/QS Code of Conduct and complete a lengthy self–study. The certification process culminates with an on–site review by a USDLA site team, including interviews with faculty, staff, and students, to verify the institution’s compliance with the Standards of Practice.
“The USDLA Quality Certification is an important validation of the high quality of Clayton College and its programs,” said Clayton College CEO Dr. Bernard Feld.
The USDLA site team, chaired by Dr. Jan McMahill, Dean of the School of Education at Drake University, found that Clayton College “met or exceeded our expectations throughout.”
USDLA/QS certification is awarded for a five–year period, subject to continued satisfactory performance, adherence to the Code of Conduct, and an integral program of continuous improvement.
As is invariably noted elsewhere, CCNH is not accredited by any agency recognized by the US Department of Education. However, such accreditation does not appear to be "standards-based." When a legitimate "standards-based" evaluation is made, CCNH passes without problem. How many RA or NA programs can make the same claim?
