Quote:George Gollin's Liberian Shakedown Role Revealed In Court Docs
http://www.dltruth.com/attachment.php?aid=96
CHEA director George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) took part in a Liberian shakedown operation intended to drive a Christian medical school out of business when it refused to pay bribes, documents filed in a Los Angeles federal court allege.
Gollin, a notorious anti-Christian bigot and University of Illinois physics professor, played a key role in the shakedown directed against St. Luke School of Medicine, according to a complaint filed March 11, 2010. St. Luke students had an 88% pass rate on their medical licensing exams, an outstanding performance for a school in the heart of war-torn Liberia. But when the school declined to pay the bribes demanded by Liberian officials to continue its accreditation, defendant George Gollin designed and implemented a scurrilous publicity campaign to discredit the school as a "diploma mill," according to the complaint.
Gollin claims to be an "expert"? in accreditation, even though he has no background, education or experience in accreditation matters, and has never taught or taken a distance learning course. To promote himself and divert attention from his lack of achievement in his dead end academic career, in 2003 Gollin began stalking, threatening and harassing startup operations and small Christian schools that couldn't afford or refused formal government accreditation. Although he was ordered by University of Illinois administrators to discontinue these practices, he then joined forces with admitted homosexual Alan Contreras--an adjudicated anti-Christian bigot and civil rights violator--to continue and expand his sordid activities.
Gollin's employer, the University of Illinois, is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit. So far there has been no comment from the university about whether Gollin will continue to be employed there at taxpayer expense, or if he will be forced to resign in disgrace.

I note that most of these posts are several years old but I am looking for assistance.
The City of West Linn has a Mayor who posted in the elections pamphlet Degreed in English. A inquiry / complaint was filed with elections and Mr. Contreras was asked to validate her response. He has stated, after several months, and upon request of the Elections Division, he was asked to validate her degree. She was not mirandized, apparently, prior to naming the institution. So, now she is under criminal investigation. Please note, the organization was not listed on the Oregon site until he made the decision.
I would like to get in touch with people who have also benefited (not) from Mr. Contreras' vast knowledge in his quest to support his vision of what is appropriate conduct.
Thank you.

I swear this is not an April Fool's Day joke. This is Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson of Georgia questioning Adm. Robert Willard. Where did this guy go to school, Princeton? This is what is running the country? Is there any wonder why the US is going to hell in a handbasket?
Quote:Rep. Hank Johnson: Guam could 'tip over and capsize'
March 31, 2010, 4:23 pm by Christina Wilkie
Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) is afraid that the U.S. Territory of Guam is going to "tip over and capsize" due to overpopulation.
Johnson expressed his worries during a House Armed Services Committee hearing on the defense budget Friday.
Addressing Adm. Robert Willard, who commands the Navy's Pacific Fleet, Johnson made a tippy motion with his hands and said sternly, "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize."
Willard paused and said: "We don't anticipate that."
Like other islands, Guam is attached to the sea floor, which makes it extremely unlikely that it will tip over, even if there are lots and lots of people on it. Guam is 30 miles long and up to 9 miles wide in certain spots, with a population of 175,000 civilians. The military is proposing the addition of 8,000 U.S. servicememebers and their families.
Reached for comment, a spokesman for Johnson said the lawmaker had visited Guam, and his concern was that the influx of military personnel would overwhelm the island's infrastructure and ecosystem.
The comment comes 1:20 into the clip.

http://www.bircham.us/index.php?option=c...&Itemid=71
That from an undated post on the Bircham International University website forum. Could it be that others are poised to jump on the lawsuit bandwagon? Let's hope so!
The full post:
Quote:John Bear's Guide
In 2007 we contacted Mr. John Bear in order to learn what arguments he used to provide incorrect references about Bircham International University. Quoting his own words:
"Perhaps at one time I may have been 'the reference' . . . but I am long retired, and not active in the field any more. I have long depended very much on AACRAO and Oregon for advice and guidelines, and for doing the kind of research that is essential. I will wait and see how they respond to your communications with them -- Dale Gough just told me that you had communicated -- and then I could contact the Wikipedia people. At this time, I understand that the AACRAO position is that Bircham "still is not listed as recognized in any resource and is not listed in any capacity on the Spanish Ministry of Education website" and that the Oregon position (I just asked Alan Contreras) is that "We don't accept Bircham degrees. We consider them not properly approved by the Spanish government (or anyplace else). They are still on The List."
His communication when he was asked about BIU from the director of the US-Spain Chamber of Commerce was:
"I am long retired from the world of higher education. I have written nothing in this field for more than four years, and never will. I am not in good health. I have no connection with any publisher or web site or education organization such as AACRAO."
Note that John Bear's expertise in the Diploma Mills and unaccredited universities started because he was the founder and president of Greenwich University for many years, and he was also involved with Columbia Pacific University and Fairfax University. All these Universities were closed by court order and are classified as unaccredited institutions or diploma mills by many of the same sources that also classify BIU.
BIU has started a legal process against Mr. John Bear and the Publishing Company of the John Bear's Guide. We hoped that fluent communications worked and this type of actions were not necessary, but now they are our only option left.

You knew it was just a matter of time before somebody had enough of this guy. Finally somebody has sued UIUC physics professor George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin).
On March 11, 2010, St. Luke School of Medicine filed an action in the California Central District of the US District Court against George Gollin, the University of Illinois, and a number of others for assault, libel and slander.
http://dockets.justia.com/docket/court-c...id-467131/
We are looking forward to seeing justice done in this case. Hopefully somebody at UIUC will now realize that they are employing a lawsuit magnet and an embarrassment to higher education and take appropriate action.

| Condom for Gollum Consort |

Minnesota congressmemberperson Betty McCollum has received a condom "removed from its original packaging."
McCollum collaborated with Marxist college professor George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) on a misleading and largely bogus article about diploma mills. The story ignored the fact that the medical profession is heavily regulated and that it is virtually impossible to become licensed to practice medicine in the US without a proper degree.
It is unknown whether the condom was sent by someone protesting McCollum's vote in favor of health care nationalization, or whether it was just an inept act of endearment by some socially awkward admirer who has a thing for gals that resemble equine farm animals.?

Rep. Betty McCollum is a Democrat from Minnesota who associates with Marxist college professor George Gollin.
Condom sent to Democrat who voted for health care bill
Quote:March 25, 2010
Rep. Betty McCollum, D-Minnesota, was one of several members of Congress who reported receiving obscene and threatening letters after voting for the health care reform bill passed by Democrats on Sunday.
But her spokeswoman told CNN that inside one letter received Thursday was a condom, removed from its original packaging.
McCollum's spokeswoman Maria Reppas said Thursday that the congresswoman's district office in St. Paul received the condom in an envelope dated March 23, along with an anonymous typed letter reading: "Betty McCollum you've been dry f***** by the liberal party."
The condom had been removed from its original packaging and placed in a plastic bag, according to McCollum's district director. McCollum's office said the U.S. Capitol Police and local law enforcement are investigating the package along with another one received Thursday.
Her office also reported receiving part of a shredded American flag doused in gasoline and a typed letter addressed to McCollum, Rep. Keith Ellison, Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Sen. Al Franken - all Democrats from Minnesota.
"Each of you receives part of a shredded American flag," the letter read. "It represents Obama and your liberal filth. Open the bag, it's covered in the stench you've brought to our government ... Because of you, we are now a country of dirt, shame, corruption and slime."
McCollum released a statement late Thursday responding to the threats.
"I will not back down in the face of attacks, threats, and violence," she said. "I do not regret my vote, and I will proudly stand in the face of opposition and defend my support of health care reform."

Liberty University of Lynchburg, Virginia was among the first to bring legal action against the government over the health care travesty being foisted off on the American public.
Link to complaint: http://www.lc.org/media/9980/attachments...thcare.pdf
Another complaint was filed by 14 states (Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington) in Florida.
Link to complaint: http://myfloridalegal.com/webfiles.nsf/WF/MRAY-83TKWB/$file/HealthCareReformLawsuit.pdf
Neither complaint makes any specific reference to the portion of the bill that nationalizes the student loan industry.

Gentlemen, why do you criticize something you can do nothing about... All we want to do is educate students, many students. ACI is the largest private accreditor in the world, and it has worked quite well for us. Especially with our new branches that follow the Christian religion.
While I am out spending all the money we make, and we make (LOTS of money) you so-called scholars write negative information about anyone not in your special club.
Why not discuss something really valuable to the entire world, something of benefit. Who knows, I could probably double anyone's salary here, to come and work for us.....then you would have a real hobby and a real job, a job that pays a real salary!
Think about it, while I laugh all the way to the bank, and I think ACI does too! Isn't it wonderful?
Dr. Raj
Laughing all the way to the bank??? Sounds like the east Indian version of Klempner!
