"The Daily Orange" purports that Hamilton University did not exist when it, in fact, did. Its campus existed in a refurbished hotel and employed a small faculty.

"The Daily Orange" also suggests that Laura Callahan purchased her degree when she, in fact, did not. Callahan wrote a dissertation, in addition to some other assignments.

People will lazily write "but it was a mere 2,000 words" without providing solutions for how long a doctoral dissertation should be. 5,000 words? 10,000? 20,000? After asking this question these idiots will make an immediate U-Turn and change songs claiming "it doesn't matter how long it is, it matters who's grading it." Oh, so I guess "little or no" was just a smokescreen and didn't really matter.

Without such solutions any Ezell/Gollin prick wannabe complaining about "diploma mills" is a mere troll and ignoramus, slandering institutions and putting themselves at risk for lawsuits.

When the CHEA conspires to publish these articles it hurts all distance learning institutions. For example, after hearing about "diploma mills" users interested in attending University of Phoenix Online will do some Google searches and find that various people have called it a diploma mill and then not sign up to save their own reputation, or those already attending may drop out, thinking "oh, it's one of those."

  Reed = Heroin U

Quote:I remember so well my father grumbling and muttering as he wrote a $2,400 check to cover my tuition and fees for the 1955-56 school year. What would he think of this year's $45,000 figure? As an accountant, he would probably say, "Let's see: a 19-fold increase in 52 years. That suggests that when your great-grandson is grumbling and muttering about his son's fees in 2059, we can extrapolate that they will be 19 x $45,000 = $855,000 a year."? Plus another 20 bucks for a Hershey bar.

John Bear '59
El Cerrito, California
Reed Magazine, Summer 2007

John Bear's undergrad alma mater, whose unofficial slogan is "atheism, communism, free love," is under fire from law enforcement authorities for rampant drug use and distribution--that has caused two student deaths from heroin overdoses in the last two years.
Quote:An Intervention at Reed
April 26, 2010

The president of Reed College was summoned on Thursday to a meeting at a federal courthouse in Oregon where federal and state authorities told him that the college must shut down drug use and distribution at the college -- starting with an all-campus party that will take place this coming weekend.

While law enforcement officials periodically call on colleges to do more to combat drug use by their students, the meeting was highly unusual in that officials warned Colin Diver, the president, that Reed could face a cutoff of federal funds -- including student loans -- if it is not deemed to be taking "adequate steps to combat illegal drug activity." The meeting with Diver was attended by the U.S. attorney for Oregon, the chief of the narcotics section of the U.S. attorney's office, the county district attorney and the county's deputy D.A.

...The authorities told Diver that they believed drug dealers planned to attend Renn Fayre to sell to students, and that the college needed to take a more assertive stance against drugs. In the last two years, two Reed students have died of heroin overdoses. (Enrollment is about 1,400.)

Notice how the "cutoff federal funds" threat is used to get the communist atheists to do what the government wants. Not a far reach to see them using the same threat against conservative Christians for other government purposes, such as not employing enough perverts or not advocating the correct social justice bullshit.

But dogma aside, Bear seems to have something to say about rising tuition costs at Reed, but so far no comment on rising drug use and student deaths. You would think he would want to promote sales of his DEATH CARTEL board game. Can Dr. 4.0 In His Stats Classes extrapolate to tell us how many Reed students will die from heroin overdoses by 2059?? How many students at unaccredited schools died from heroin last year?

  Law Enforcement Porn Problem
Posted by: Yancy Derringer - 04-24-2010, 03:23 PM - Forum: Chip White - Replies (6)

So how is it that a pedophile-pandering pervert and porn peddler like Thomas “Chip” White can elude law enforcement authorities?

Because law enforcement authorities are pornographers’ best customers!

Sorry, we can’t take down Bernie Madoff just yet, all the investigators are busy downloading videos at boysfeetclub, boyfunk and elijahswood.

This explains why the SS was so eager to crash Dixie's party.  They must have heard about the kiddie porn on Pearson's computers and wanted to get first dibs on the good stuff.

How Big Is the SEC's Porn Problem?

Quote: So what was the Securities and Exchange Commission doing while the economy fell to pieces?

At least a few SEC employees were viewing pornography on their government-issued computers, according to media and government reports.

The Washington Times broke the story in February, but media blog Gawker reported Wednesday that it obtained 16 reports of investigations into SEC employees who spent as much as 1 1/2 hours a day accessing Internet sites such as skankwire.com, pokeoftheday.com and sexyavatars.com.

Gawker said that over the past two years, more than a dozen employees and contractors have tried to access porn on government computers at least 8,273 times.

According to a 2008 semiannual report to Congress from the SEC inspector general, the agency completed five porn-related investigations and inquiries between April and September of that year.

Report: SEC Supervisor Admitted Porn-Related Activities

In one case, the report said, an employee tried hundreds of times to access pornographic sites and was denied access. When he used a flash drive, he successfully bypassed the filter to visit a "significant number" of porn sites.

The employee also said he deliberately disabled a filter in Google to access inappropriate sites. After management informed him that he would lose his job, the employee resigned.

A similar SEC report for October 2008 to March 2009 said that a regional supervisor in Los Angeles accessed and attempted to access pornographic and sexually explicit Web sites up to twice a day from his SEC computer during work hours.

Over the course of 17 days, the report said, the supervisor received about 1,880 access denials for inappropriate Web sites. The supervisor also admitted to saving numerous pornographic images to his work hard drive and acknowledged that his porn-related activities may have interfered with his work. According to the SEC, the supervisor was reprimanded. …

Why Is George Gollin So Full of Hate?

[Image: GollinHater02.jpg][Image: GollinHater02.jpg][Image: GollinHater02.jpg]

Quote:George Gollin is a University of Illinois science teacher who claims to be an “expert” in accreditation—despite having no formal education or training on the topic.

“These sons of bitches who smell money are just using the situation there for their own ends,” says George Gollin. “They’re monsters. They’re just disgusting monsters.”

Who is George Gollin talking about?  Perhaps it’s the pedophile-pandering gay pornographer who ran the website where George Gollin made 1,280 posts?  No, not a word about that from George Gollin.

Maybe it’s that woman who sold 386 mutant lab pigs to the public for food, and got cited by the FDA for violating federal health laws?  That was no woman, that was his wife, Melanie Loots, and no comment on that from George Gollin either.

Or could it perhaps have been that gay Oregon bureaucrat who was adjudged by a US federal court to be an anti-Christian bigot and civil rights violator?  Nope, that was George Gollin’s “collaborator” Alan Contreras, to whom George Gollin sent all the slanderous web pages his employer ordered him to remove from their server.

No, George Gollin is talking about people like Dr. Jerroll Dolphin.

All Dr. Jerroll Dolphin wanted was to bring doctors and medical care to the poor, sick and dying of Liberia, an African country in the throes of violent chaos and civil war.  Against all odds he nearly succeeded, opening St. Luke School of Medicine, obtaining government accreditation, and even graduating medical doctors who achieved an excellent 88% pass rate on national medical board exams.

Thanks to Dr. Dolphin’s efforts, for the first time in ten years doctors brought medicine to hundreds suffering in refugee camps. Twenty-five new doctors were licensed, many of whom paid nothing at all in tuition for their education.

But then the rebels controlling the education system in Liberia began demanding a $6,000 a month bribe from Dr. Dolphin and St. Luke.  When the school refused to pay George Gollin went into action, court documents allege.

Acting as a “consultant” to the corrupt Liberian regime, court documents allege that George Gollin began a campaign to slander St. Luke as an illegal “diploma mill” operation.

As a result of George Gollin’s alleged treachery, St. Luke School of Medicine could not provide the doctors and medical care that the African people so desperately needed.  And without such care, untold numbers of African men, women and children suffered needlessly and died cruelly.

Now Dr. Dolphin and St. Luke School of Medicine are suing George Gollin and the University of Illinois in a California federal court. Dolphin already has obtained a $120 million judgment against some of the defendants in an African court.

But who is really the “monster” using the Liberian situation for his own ends?  The answer is written in the blood of dead African babies.

  Abner lauds Cesar Chavez
Posted by: Little Arminius - 04-22-2010, 05:14 PM - Forum: Nominees, second-stringers, others - Replies (7)

I just saw this post from Abner (a/k/a "Sensei Abner").

DI thread started by Abner

IIRC, this jerk once posted that his 3 role models in life were:
1. Cesar Chavez
2. Gregg "Elmer" DesElms
3. Jesus Christ

Even the late Uncle Janko ridiculed Abner for making such a statement. I have criticized Abner in the past but probably not strong enough. He realy is on par with the biggest of losers posting over at DI, probably only behind his "hero" Elmer and gay porn impresario Chip.

Is there a reason why this article does not include George being named in the lawsuit? It is public information. And no matter how many times Tallmagic tries to sabatoge it, he cannot deny the truth.

It really amuses me how some here can hold their breath waiting for some of the jackasses on the payroll of the accreditation cartel to go to jail for the many obvious violations which they are guilty of.
The Italian humanitarian group Emergency is of left wing persuasion. They have set up a number of hospitals in war or disaster-torn zones such as Cambodia, Aghanistan etc.
There were talks of a nobel prize to the founder Gino Strada.
They've been very outspoken in the denunciation of abuses and 'mishaps', such as when invader...ops...peace keepers get it wrong and blast encampments full of civilians of color...in a climate that worships the recovery of shoe boxes containing the remains of hundreds thousands victims and the consequent ongoing denunciation of atrocities from several decades in the past on the basis of absolute ethical imperatives, one would surmise Emergency's denunciations be worth a nobel prize...
Think again...
They've recently been framed by the straw man government in Afghanistan for allegedly orchestrating a political assassination on behalf of the Talibans who had allegedly paid $500.000.
Well, how the Talibans may need to pay $500.000 to a few wops operating a hospital-encampment, in order to carry on their deeds is beyond me, but there they were witnesses and informants and more witnesses and secret service reports.
It sounds like mafia style intimidation to me, eh?
As soon as Emergency agreed to quit the area, all accusation fell as mysteriously as they had appeared...well, maybe the informant got it wrong this time and the witness meant another guy, eh?
Now occupying forces are free to clean house without anyone blowing the whistle about nonsense such as slaughtered civilians of color...I mean, come on...you can stretch the joke only so far, eh?
Do you think Emergency got the message right?
