  FREE DIXIE RANDOCK!!!!
Posted by: Albert Hidel - 07-15-2008, 05:24 AM - Forum: Unaccredited vs. State-Approved vs. Accredited - Replies (1)

Dixie Randock is a political prisoner.

She was railroaded by the wealthy, entrenched higher education cartel.

She was jailed by a judge who sits on the board of trustees of one of her competitors.

Our own government caused her Liberian accreditation to be quashed, then arrested her for fraud for selling unaccredited degrees.

In a country with 20 million illegal aliens running rampant--many of whom are actual criminals, murderers, rapists, thieves, drug dealers and terrorists--the resources of US government are devoted to this instead? Something is wrong with this picture.

Bill: "Some of us remember the "Captain" and Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Trudy . . ."

John: And some of us didn't. The whole fascinating story is here: http://tinyurl.com/652gj2

old DI thread on Jimmy Clifton

John Bear, the old DL icon himself, shows that he hasn't lost a step in the digging-up-dirt on enemies department. There has always been some real tension between JB and Jimmy Clifton though I don't know the history of it.

I used to have HR responsibilities for various companies I worked with or consulted for. My general position on applicants with unaccredited or questionably accredited degrees basically boils down to the institution. If the person claims a degree from an unwonderful school where any reasonable person should realize that the school is bogus or questionable, then I would not further consider the candidate regardless of credentials, under the theory that if he's willing to misrepresent his background in an interview, he will probably be willing to do other unethical things when hired.

If it's an RA school that was not yet accredited at the time of the degree, I would probably not hold that against the candidate, but in a tiebreaking situation, it might come into play.

On a separate note, John, I was unaware that DETC was stupid enough to accredit two other schools with a World Association history. One would think they would have learned enough after the first experience, but obviously money or DETC's institutional arrogance is more important than DETC's institutional integrity. Which are the other two schools?

Also, another side note: Has DETC EVER removed accreditation from a school? Last I remember, no one could think of a school they'd decertified. If that's still true, it would't seem to bode well for DETC's integrity, since I find it hard to believe there isn't a single DETC program that's gone bad.

This surprises me. Chip had a job before he became an ass doctor, even before he became an ass pirate. How can someone who has never earned a degree, much less a distance degree hold himself out as an expert without being totally embarrassed?

DETC bad boys - Azaliah College comes to mind. There were others but many of them simply did not attempt to renew accrerditation or resigned from accreditation. There was one given the boot less than a year ago but since readmitted after resolving its issues. One has to remember that DETC has about a tenth or less of the degree granting schools of each of the regionals.

I posted this information against my better judgment. I did so at the suggestion of a very good friend and long-time, well-respected member of this board.

Bill Dayson's rude, insulting, uncivil, and obnoxious posts have served as reminders of why I took a leave of absence. I will now take a permanent leave of absence and request my account be permanently deleted.

Regardless of the changes one makes in one's life, there will always be those who cling to the past. One thing definitely remains certain, however. Bill Dayson, whose academic information, to my knowledge, has never been revealed, remains a jackass.(Unquote)

Jimmy went to DD to run by his idea of course development at an unaccredied religious school and was severely shat upon by the usual stalkers. Why do I get the feeling that Jimmy is one of the most talented people at that Godforsaken sorry-ass site?

Of course Dayson is one of the biggest peckerheads there.

  More Janko Nazi Slurs
Posted by: Armando Ramos - 07-12-2008, 10:55 AM - Forum: Nominees, second-stringers, others - Replies (6)

John Weaver-Hudson, aka Uncle Janko, continues with his Nazi-inspired ethnic slurs.

Quote:The usual Untermenschen are very upset, it seems.
http://www.degreediscussion.com/forums/v...=30#p46105

Quote:Untermensch...is a term from Nazi racial ideology used to describe "inferior people", especially "the masses from the East," that is Jews, Gypsies, Slavs, Soviet Bolsheviks, and anyone else who was not an "Aryan" according to the contemporary Nazi race terminology.

...The term "Untermensch" was utilized repeatedly in writings and speeches directed against the Jews, the most notorious example being a 1935 SS publication with the title "Der Untermensch" which contains an antisemitic tirade sometimes considered to be an extract from a speech held by Heinrich Himmler.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Untermensch

Once again John Weaver-Hudson is caught revealing his true Nazi colors and ideology.

John Weaver-Hudson has been caught parroting his Nazi heroes before.  In one instance he again paraphrased his hero Himmler by referring to Sheila Danzig as an "A-1 Jew."
http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showpost.ph...stcount=14

Quote:And then they come to me, eighty million worthy Germans, and each one has his decent Jew. Of course the others are vermin, but this one is an A-1 Jew.
Heinrich Himmler, speech to Schutzstaffel (SS) officers at Poznan (4th October, 1943)

That Himmler stuff probably goes over big with his 60-person-and-shrinking "congregation" in Buttcrack, Michigan.  But Janko is more like Goebbels than Himmler, if the old song is any indication.

  Janko Slams "Impotent" Elmer
Posted by: 4Knee Kate - 07-10-2008, 11:08 AM - Forum: Gregg DesElms - Replies (3)

Not that you can ever figure out WTF Janko is ranting about in broken English, but it seems like he has taken a swipe at massage parlor expert Gregg DesElms:

Quote:Release the names.

This has been used against patrons of houses of vice, so why not here?

"Uh, I spent $40,000 on a hooker in Minneapolis, but I was just on a lark."

"Uh, I spent thousands on a fake degree in Spokane to deceive immigration authorities and undermine national security, or just to rip off my employer, but I was just joking."

Male-menopause types dealing with their um impotence in such ways may be stupid, may in some universe of cretins be considered harmless in intent, but they're still in this human intelligence trace-bearing universe, paying and enabling criminals.

Dumb and dumber. Fuhgeddabahdit.
http://www.degreediscussion.com/forums/v...=15#p46057

The only idiot we know of to spend $40K on a hooker in Minneapolis is Gregg DesElms.

So is Janko saying Elmer frequents hookers because he suffers from "um impotence"? You could buy a lot of Viagra with $40,000, or so Ted Heiks tells us.

Wouldn't someone frequent hookers because they don't have impotence? Isn't that like buying ammo when you don't own a gun?

Is this the dark secret Elmer revealed to Janko when he showed up wasted on Janko's doorstep? Or did Janko learn of it "first hand," so to speak?

  Bear's Dilemma
Posted by: 4Knee Kate - 07-10-2008, 10:36 AM - Forum: John Bear - Replies (1)

John?Bear Wrote:When Allen Ezell and I submitted our manuscript for Degree Mills: the billion-dollar industry that has sold more than a million fake degrees to the publisher Prometheus, we included an appendix listing our database of, then, about 2,600 non-GAAP schools. While we made it clear that we are not calling this a list of degree mills, and that degrees that are legal in one state can be a criminal offense in another (the usual arguments, blah blah blah), the publisher chose not to take the risk of including that list.

In the ensuing four years, the data base has grown by 576 new entries (about three new fakes per week!), and I'm still not sure what to do with it. Yes, I've looked into libel insurance, and it is fearfully expensive, especially for someone who has already been sued six or seven times. Very large deductible, and very high (like tens of thousands of dollars) premium.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.
http://www.degreediscussion.com/forums/v...=15#p46071

Poor John Bear! His list of competitors (er, I mean, "fakes") has grown so big he doesn't know what to do! How can Bear put his competition out of business but still start new mills himself without people getting wise?

Interesting that Bear equates "non-GAAP schools" with "fakes." How about a list of legitimate but unaccredited schools that doesn't include any fakes? Oops, that's right, he's already tried that, but somehow nearly all of his past "good choices" (including the ones he operated) turned out to be current "bad choices."

We wouldn't want any innocent students getting burned by bogus information, would we? Or at least not any more than the thousands who paid Bear good money for useless advice in the past. What's a con artist to do?

Homeland Security - What a Crock

Gollin at DegreeDiscussion:

http://www.degreediscussion.com/forums/v...f=5&t=5708

Where are all the liberal assholes at degreediscussion who think the extension of the homeland security label to anything and everything is blatantly ridiculous?

One person applied for a visa with a St. Regis degree. I wonder how many man-years of research it took to find the one.

There are 10 million, 20 million, whatever undocumented illegal alien residents in the US. No-one knows anything about them. No security checks have been done. Priorities are simply amazing. Maybe there's a 10 million member terrorist sleeper cell in the US. Does anyone really know? Meanwhile every federal civil servant in the land had embarked on an empire building program citing homeland security. Apparently some under-achieving university professors have done the same thing.

  TUI: Distracting
Posted by: Don Dresden - 07-08-2008, 04:40 PM - Forum: Distance Learning Discussion - Replies (11)

When Tuoro University International changed their name to TUI University I wondered what they were thinking.  WTF is a TUI?  Sounds kinda like a reaction to catarrh: "ptooey."

Apparently a "tui" is some sort of New Zealand bird, "one of the largest members of the diverse honeyeater family."

Not exactly an inspiring image on a par with, say, the Thunderbird School.

But then I ran across this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAmJEqBSBqI

I know there's a lot of folks with "degrees" from Budweiser U, but now I'm seeing that TUI name in a whole new "lite."

"Distracting the boys from the task at hand since 1889."
