From the Breyer thread at degreeinfo:

In conclusion, I submit that your degree better look good on the wall; because your degree is fradulent. I don't know what you paid in tuition to Breyer, but if you wanted a "nice looking" degree, you could have save a few thousand dollars and went to the local printer...

Who is this pisant knob who thinks that his Capella doctorate is something more than PhD.-Lite? I think it's running neck and neck with Union for the title of least desirable accredited doctorate. Why do the guys with the crap accredited degrees always attack the guys with the good unaccredited degrees? Perhaps they wish to differentiate an otherwise similar product.

Now don't ever get the idea that Gus and friends hate shortcuts, they don't. They hate your shortcuts and you, if you say you prefer your shortcuts to theirs.
Gus thinks his 110 day degree from TESC is just as good as a four year degree from the University of Texas. But if you took a poll of students and educators at the major universities you wouldn't find much support for that idea, hence the reason for his shilling for these accredited degree mills at the DL forums. If he tried to say these things to real academics he would be laughed off campus, so he howls his absurd statements among those who have drunk from the same muddy ponds.
Rich Douglas says that his 4 degrees in 21 months are just as good and just as usable as 12 years (about how long it would take to get four degrees from B&Ms, at Penn. State University getting these same degrees. You will find virtually no support for such an idea from faculty or students at the B&M colleges.
Can you imagine Gus or Rich trying to convince an academic at Yale that their quicky degrees contain the same level of education and quality as would degrees earned from Stanford or Harvard?
If Gus and Rich wanted to brag and boast, they should have done something to brag and boast about. I mean, just how the hell do you convince true academics that almost nothing is really great?
An 8 week degree from Excelsior is education excellence?? is something to hold up to the world as special? something every mom and dad would want for their kids? something you would want your accountant to do? your MD to do? your dentist to do? your lawyer to do? the engineer designing the bridge you drive across each day? the guy who designs the very tall building you sit in? The answer to all of them, OF COURSE NOT!! You would want them to have real learning and knowledge, not becoming experts at test taking and fooling the system and slapping one useless piece of paper after the other on the wall. Better one real degree representing skills and knowledge than half a dozen quicky diplomas representing fast, cheap, and easy.

DegreeDiscussion Link:
I would ask each person to read the post from Gus beginning to end.
1- He knows KU is legal as are the degrees, and he doesn't like that.
2- He guesses about why Denmark allows KU to operate, but, he doesn't really know, he's just guessing.
3-He makes another guess as to why Denmark's laws are the way they are. For him lax, for me open to different options.
4-Gus decides KU must be bad because the operations point is in a "nice upscale home." I guess it should be located in a barn or tree house.
5-Gus knows virtually nothing about Henrik so he just makes it up and guesses.
6-Gus wants to know why Henrik wouldn't help a reporter doing a hatchet job on him and KU. Let me make a guess myself, perhaps common sense.
7-Gus then takes all his guesses and hunches, adds them all up, and gets what? NOTHING. Why, because when you add zero plus zero, you have 'ZERO'.
Oh, and by the way, Gus wants you to be very careful. Because if all his guesses were right, if all his hunches are correct, if the wind is out of the South and the Cubs win the World Series, Gus just might be right about 1% of what he thinks??? could be wrong with Knightsbridge.
Look over his post and you will find insult and guesswork, not the serious research and discussion that an intelligent man might use. It is the ramblings of a man who hates. And people who hate always find victims.
Knightsbridge has been around for years and many people have used the school. Almost all are well pleased with it. The students who have commented on the school and its quality have all been positive. It may not be right for everyone, Henrik tells people that, but if it is right for you, it is legal, stable, and well respected by the students, and by me. I believe any fair-minded person who honestly looks at KU will find a school, not a mill. But if you think a degree from a legal unaccredited school is not right for you, then look elsewhere. Henrik doesn't hold a gun to anyone's head and force them to use his school. He helps those who choose to use KU and who would benefit from a degree from a legally operating "SCHOOL."

"Dear Abby: I'm slightly confused. If someone has extremely good qualities and states what they are, is that bragging-even if there was no intention of making others feel bad?"
--Inquisitive In Sunnyvale, Calif.
Answer:
"Dear Inquisitive: It's a matter of degree. Tooting your own horn isn't necessarily bragging; it can be a form of SELF PROMOTION. However, if you go on and on about your own 'extremely good qualities' and fail to mention the good qualities of others, frankly, you will eventually find yourself talking to yourself."
--Abigail Van Buren--2007
John Bear was once heard and believed by many, but, now he is down to the gang and perhaps a few dozen more suck-ups. What a comedown from the wide following he once had when he was the voice of moderation, reason, inclusion, and new educational experiences. One can only wonder if the voice was for real or was it just the wind blowing between the used cars.

Knightsbridge about to be in the news (I hope)
Based on the reporter's call from Europe at 6 this morning, it seems as if a major news medium is working on a story on the Pride of Spentrup, Denmark, possibly to appear later this week. I'll try to stay alert, but I'll bet someone else here finds it first.

Quote:'m happily single (yes, folks, it is possible... ) and not particularly looking, though I wouldn't necessarily turn down Mr. Right if he happened to wander by. (Mr. Right probably NOT being a Myspace person, since most Myspace users are under 30 and... well... no offense, but I don't really want to date someone 15+ years younger than I am.) And while I'm happy to be your friend, I'm not into hookups at all.

DEGREEINFO owner Thomas Chip White, who regularly castigates "nazis" and "degree mill shills" or buyers of milled degrees when asked to do so by the clique members ( dr. John Bear, Uncle Janko, Alan Contreras, George Brown, prof. George Gollin etc ) is apparently still seeking MISTER right.
This is not the place to discuss sexual orientation ( i'm mostly indifferent ) by an ethical perspective, but my point is anyone who finger points others on such frivulous bases as "being a nazi" or buying a milled degree ought to better keep his closets empty before evoking the thunder of moral justice upon anyone...common sense, right?
Besides, how old should anyone be to have been a real "nazi"?
80yo+?
Not so with Thomas Chip White...in his webpage filled with pics of scantly clad gay "boys" & the like, he lists as his heroes
Quote: Gandhi, Einstein, Herb Kelleher and Colleen Barrett (Southwest Airlines), Tom Peters, and anyone with high integrity.
He also
Quote:I'm also a nationally certified massage therapist, and used to teach massage, and am interested in psychology, spirituality (particularly shamanism and indiginous (non-psychedelic, non-drug) traditions.
No mention is made of his major operation dealing with distance education DEGREEINFO.

it might not be Harvard or Cambridge, but it isn't MIGS or some dodgy PO operation run from a massage parlor basement in LA or the jungles of Liberia, either.
Highly recommended.

Thomas Chip White, famous owner of site DEGREEINFO, not only operates an empire of gay teen porn sites, but -with unparalleled elegance- peddles dubious health treatment (applied to such serious diseases as cancer ) such as coffee enemas:
Quote:Chip White
(Chip White developed the training program and authored much of the materials used in the training of Gerson Physicians.)
Quote:Therapy Coffee is a unique blend of organic coffee beans, specially prepared and roasted to enhance cleansing properties. Developed in accordance with the principles established by the Gerson Therapy researchers, this coffee is specifically optimized for use by Gerson Therapy patients and others using similar cleansing regimens and is recommended by leading Gerson Therapy Professionals

Not only that.
Thomas Chip White, the man who castigates "nazis" and "degree mill shills" from his abode at DEGREEINFO, also was behind a forfeited operation selling dubious health treatment:
